61. People are too hard on Vergie, let the women alone. She is a mother and mothers have gut feelings about their children. If she thought it smelled like a bad situation, it probably was. It will all come out in the wash. HKS will get his in the end. He's a grown man (ha,ha) and a BIG LOSER. He had to live on the coat-tail of a WOMEN. Let that little bundle of joy go to her real father and pray she has a better life. She will need lots of love and care to get ready to deal with her legacy. My heart goes out to her because of and all the heartach that will be commen her way in the future. It isn't her fault that her mother got mixed up with a CREP like HKS. So take it easy on Vergie, that little girl will need her someday. All children need there families some time in their lives. As far as the money goes looks like HKS is the one racking in the bucks.

62. Thats why they loved Anna in the bahamas she became a tourist site and now in death it continues with people paying for tours and memorabilia of her. Maybe they could have actually picked a cemetary that at least had a fence around it or some form of security. Just wait till someone tries to do an archival dig because they might get millions for her burial gown.

Eagle-eyed security guards are on a round-the-clock watch at the Lakeview cemetery, final resting place for the late Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith, after nearly 300 visits in less than a week by camera-toting tourists had destroyed some of the cemetery's lush landscaping.

The guards, armed with attack dogs, will filter out persons who are visiting family members at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens and Mausoleums from those who are just coming to view the newest tourist attraction on the island.

A sign with the words: "This is not a tour site, please respect the cemetery" is pasted on the barricade that blocks entrance to the gravesides after, officials said, some persons boldly drove over some graves in search of the former Playboy playmate's final resting place.

"We had cars pulling up on the graveside and destroying the landscape and the graves and disrespecting the deceased," said Mr Thompson, a security guard at the cemetery. "Since Friday's funeral we had roughly over 300 people here between Friday and now."

Many family members have complained about persons "trampling" over the graves of their loved ones buried in the cemetery, said Thompson.

Pointing to a visibly disturbed graveside at the western end of the cemetery, Thompson said the landscape near the plot was almost completely destroyed by a horde of tourists who mistook it for Smith's grave.

"It was disrespectful," said Ann Bease, who weekly visits her son's graveside just a few plots down from Smith's. "Tourists were all over the place and it was just not peaceful, it was just disgusting actually [and] I felt violated."

"I want my son's final resting place to be peaceful."

Bease said that she was pleased with the cemetery's new policies. Deb Cartwright, an employee at Lakeview, pointed out that the new security measures will not hinder family members from visiting their loved ones' on the private property.

"We're not stopping them," she said. " Bahamians are welcome to visit if they have family members who are buried here. But they can't bring any tourist with them because it's not a tourist attraction."

Cartwright attributes much of the tourist visits to taxi drivers, saying: "They are using this as a part of their tour."

She explained that she had gotten into a verbal clash, just hours before The Guardian's arrival, with an irate tourist who felt that she should have been allowed inside the cemetery to view Smith's grave.The visitor she had just paid her taxi driver $50 for a tour of Smith's house and grave.

Cartwright and Thompson both feel that they have a difficult task ahead of them.

"I had over a hundred people here now so far," Thompson said as he turned away another pair of hopefuls. "Tour buses, hotel buses bring guests. We had about 33 taxis so far this morning, filled with people."

Bease believes a person should be able to rest in peace no matter how famous they were.

"I was in Jamaica this past weekend and I didn't go rushing around looking for Bob Marley's final resting place. Let him rest in place."

66. They won't be able to pay for having armed guards at that cemetary for more than a few days and this is going to continue on for much longer. Someone from Court Tv or one of the news shows had a person go to the gravesite and said there was no security so the guards might be a recent response to the place being over run. Its been mentioned that there are no fences, and only 3 security cameras for the entire cemetary. These guys running the tours are in it for the money and will ride it out until the guard situation ends if it hasn't already. The fact is there is no security at this location, not long term security and thats what its going to take to keep people overrunning the place.

According to Soto, his son is the result of a torrid love affair between himself and the 42DD femme fatale in early 2001, while Smith was vacationing at Paradise Valley's Sanctuary Resort and Spa. He has the birth certificate and other documents to prove it. If they hold up in court, and he's able to establish little Marshall's lineage through DNA, Soto, his son, and the entire Tohono O'odham tribe stand to cash in big time.

What, was Anna pregnant and no one saw it? Anna went to the reservation and had a child? What other crap is going to come up. What kind of a person would do this to a child? Telling him that is his mother and making him cry! Sicko, sicko, sicko!

Hey, Mr. Soto, go hire Debra to do your dirty work. She's based in Hollywood, California. If you have any pictures of you and Anna, sell them because Debra doesn't come cheap. Contact Splash so that they can fly you to and from Debra's office and perhaps pay her to do some work for you too.

WHY DIDN'T THE PEOPLE WHO ORDERED ALL THOSE MONOGRAMMED FLOWERS
PUT DANIEL'S NAME ON ONE AS WELL?

73. I had a thought last week during Anna's funeral - I thought about how well she would have been protected in California near Marilyn Monroe - in the USA where Anna longed to be most of her life.

I heard Howard K Stearn tell the Judge that he & Anna looked into buying a cemetary plot near Marliyn for Danniel where Anna would eventually be buried but I think Howard told Judge Larry that money was an issue...Does anyone know remember exactly what Howard told the judge?
