152. I have a 4 year old grandson who stepped on a nail. But he's a little toughy and did not want anyone to think he's a baby I guess, so he didn't say anything until I was getting his jammies for bed. He did not want the one's with feet in them because it might hurt his sore foot. He had a tetnus shot, so I put an antiboitic on it, and kept an eye on it, but had he never told me at all, and had he not have had his shots up to date, it could have been just like Lily Rose. So don't be so quick to judge the parents. They may not have known. I'm not sure what their laws are in France about shots and such, but I bet anything Johnny and Vanessa will be sure the children understand the danger of it all now.

153. To No 4 Yay me - Are you kidding? Poster No. 1 is right about the red line. If someone gets blood poisioning, it become obvious on the skin. Yeah, kids do get hurt and sometimes don't tell their parents, but if their parents are paying attention, they would notice something is wrong. You just fluff it off.. Someone wasn't paying close enough attention to let it go that far. Even if the injury is on the bottom of the foot, you would see redness rising up the skin on the ankle and leg. Try knowing what you're talking about before posting.

154. The fact that Johnny Depp stayed with his daughter every minute does not suprise me for a second. Everything I have read and one of the reasons I respect him as a man as well as an actor, is because he is devote to his family. He is an amazing brave actor and seemingly untouched by the celebrity he can claim. As far as were they watching or paying attention...forget it. I have raised 3 children, there or not it is impossible to be the perfect parent. My prayers remain with them, but I am sure they will be fine.

Please Elizabeth, Hero's are the fire fighters who went into the WTC. They are police, nurses, doctors, rescue workers, care givers, our men and women who protect this country as well as ordinary people who do heroric things.

Move on with your family and we appreciate all the movies and examples you express and show to us your public... You are a good man, who knows and is grateful for what life has offered you. If you have an awful comment to say about a person how about a time or place being the right time.. It shows like you lost someone or something that hurt you very badly I am sorry for you. 161. When I was a kid I was walking alone and barefoot in a weed lot when I stepped on the erect, broken-off stalk of a woody plant. It didn't hurt much. I just pulled the splinter out and never mentioned it to my parents. I didn't think it was important. Later I noticed red lines running up my foot and into my ankle. Since I had never heard of such a thing, I just thought the lines were interesting and never mentioned them to my parents. After some days they went away.
Some children make their own decisions. You can't fix blame on parents without more information than is available in Lily Rose's case. You know, I'm 54 and it actually wasn't until I heard about her ailment that I realized I should have told my parents.
