18. When she stepped on the rusty tack she should have been taken to the doctor for a tetanus shot and anti-biotics to prevent exactly what she got. They are very, very lucky people she is still with them. So terribly sad. I guess they just didn't think it was a serious wound. I wish her a speedy recovery and keep your shoes on llittle luv.

I don't g et all those milllions of dollars, a rusty tack is dangerous, did they wait to long now that it spread to the entire body, when i was a child i was in my grandmother's basement without shoes on and i stepped on a big nail and my parents took me to the hospital asap and i got a tennous shot....i knew johnny would be right by her side, i wonder if it happened on his private island.

21. Unfortunately, when you have young children, you have to be more alert to their needs.
It seems that this went too far to reach a state to have a child be admitted in such serious condition with damaged organs. Celebrities tend to be too busy with themselves, like B. Spears, and think more of themselves than anyone else. When
young children are neglected, there has to be an awakening. It may take something
dramatic, like this episode, to make the parents slow down and pay more attention to
their children.

29. Seriously people, this type of infection does not just happen immediately and can't be blamed on the fact that she may not have told her caretaker. There are MANY symptoms which would preceed her becoming critically ill. Horrible pain, fever, etc. In addition, tetanus has nothing to do with this. As a nurse, I agree with the statement regarding the importance of immunizations, but this is a bacterial infection, not tetanus. There is no way to know who dropped the ball here, parents, nannies or doctors. But this doesn't just show up all of a sudden. No matter what, many prayers to this sweet girl. Best wishes for a complete recovery.
