Rosie to "Idol's" Lythgoe -- Blah, Blah, Blah

Rosie O'DonnellRosie O'Donnell has just a couple words for "American Idol's" Nigel Lythgoe: Whatever, dude.

That, in effect, was Rosie's response to Lythgoe's stinging criticism, just a couple of hours after the "Idol" honcho called her remarks about his show "absurd," "ridiculous," "self-promotional" and "without thought or knowledge." On her blog at rosie.com, "The View's" resident firestarter had this to say [warning: spellings unchanged] --

Rosie appears to equate Nigel Lythgoe with Sam Riddle ("sam r"), the producer of "Star Search," where O'Donnell got her start by winning several weeks in a row.

53. Wow...she's amazing! Talk about a misfit to society! And I pity anyone that condones her behavior. Why would anyone encourage rudeness? Yet the shows that promote rudeness, has the higher ratings? What's the world coming to? Repulsive Rosie, of all people, should not criticize anyone. She and her life is so perfect, that she can criticize others? I don't think so. She isn't on there to give her views. She's on there to vent all of her built up anger toward the world. Better be prepared to take what you dish out Rosie. You're depressed? Well honey, you create your problems, yourself! And with your rudeness, I doubt that you'll get too much sympathy.

60. Donald Trump described Rosie Posie perfectly. If everyone would ignore her, not print her name, zilch, nothing......she might go away. Rosie seems unable to handle her celebrity and has, in my opinion, gone totally nuts. Do I watch The View? No. I have not watched since Star Jones got too big for her britches. Star, I think, may have learned her lesson but I doubt Rosie Posie ever will. She is like a neighborhood bully.
