Usher: King of PopTarts?

Usher revealed just what a huge star he is, during an outing in New York on Wednesday.

While some have labeled Usher Michael Jackson's successor as the new King of Pop, it appears the R&B star is taking weight cues from another Jackson: Miss Jackson, if you're nasty!

Hopefully, the bundled up crooner will be hitting the gym again to deflate those trademark abs, just like Janet (on the right) did. Until then, he can at least count on the extra poundage to keep him warm on those cold New York streets.

32. Anyone who seriously believes either Usher or Justin Timberlake is the new/next King of Pop should be have hair set on fire and burn.

Why is it so easy to be "the King" of something nowadays? Michael Jackson was well beyond 20 years of his career until he was finally crowned the King. I will quote the great Steve Harvey when he says at the annual BET awards: "You can't get no Lifetime Achievement Award with one CD out; a few hits here and there; been out for few years, no you got to be here for a LIFETIME,"

James Brown last wish before he died was for Michael Jackson to save music which he told Al Sharpton, whom mentioned it at the funeral (which MJ attended). A statement like that doesn't get much clearer.
