Courtney Love Accused of Rehab and Dash

Rocker Courtney Love is being sued by a posh rehab facility for allegedly not paying an ultra-expensive bill stemming from her three-month stay back in 2005.

The lawsuit, which first appeared on TheSmokingGun.com, accuses Love of owing Beau Monde International $181,286. According to court papers, Love stayed at their Orange County facility, Beau Monde's Recovery Retreat, from August 25, 2005 through November 18, 2005. The suit claims that Love paid $10,000 a week after entering, but that was all they ever received.

Beau Monde's Recovery Retreat is a small rehab facility that only has between 3 and 5 clients at a time. Love entered the facility after she was ordered into rehab by a Los Angeles judge, after violating her probation in connection with drug and assault pleas.

Beau Monde International is seeking the money they are owed, plus interest and legal costs.

Reps for Love had no comment.

17. when that stupid broad fessed up to doing Heroin when she was knocked up, that pretty much did it for me. What a complete waste of air space. She's a crappy person, a crappy mother (anyone that does drugs when pregnant, or even when the child is IN HER CARE) deserves to rot in hell. She showed some hope when she played Larry Flynts wife, but other than that, there is absolutely nothing redeemable about her. Kurt should have done the world a favor and shot her instead.

22. Hey, all you privledged, under educated actors, singers and musicians that monitor this site. Take a good look at Courtney Love and you will see just what your future has in store for you. This woman is on the fast track of destruction. Drugs, booze, money and arrogance are the mixture of this womans life. She's most likely been abanndonned by all the leaches who called her their friends. And now her life is in shambles with legal troubles, addictions and mental instabilities. And probably has no money to pay her bills because she hasn't worked in years. Immorality does have a price to pay. And Courtney Love is now paying that price. it doesn't take a Brain Surgeon to figure this one out. This one won't be missed at all.

23. Hey Courtney! I have a great idea for how you can pay those bills! Why don't you take whatever you have left of Kurt's & sell it to the highest bidder!!! Oh, that's right, you've been doing that already for the past 13 years! How about selling his private journals? Oh, that's right, you've already sold that too! Hmm... How about selling any remaining shares of Nirvana that you own, it WAS pretty clever of you to convince Kurt to change things so he got 75% of the profits while Krist and Dave split 25%! Perfect timing on your part since you ended up with everything that belonged to Kurt since he couldn't get those divorce papers fast enough to keep you from doing what you did to him...... It's so relieving now that you're leaving as soon as you get paid! There's a heart-shaped coffin waiting for you... IN HELL!

24. Considering how much she gets from Kurt's music even now that he's dead, she can more than afford to pay those damn bills. Kurt still makes a lot of money now and who else is profiting? His widow of course.

25. It wasn't ten thousand dollars a week! the story states a week after entering the program she paid them a single payment of ten thousand dollars.... the only money she ever gave them- thus the lawsuit.

26. I was in this rehab, their intent was to only cater to the very rich and celebrities. They had not pulled any big names prior, through leaked gossip among the staff Courtney was do indorse Beau Monde, apparently this did not happen and now they want money. The rehab is run out of homes in neighborhoods, family neghborhoods that residents are unaware of. If they run more than the so called "small client" base they have to pay a bed tax. And the answer to the question does this rehab work? Being left alone for days on end with someone coming around to feed you and give you meds, a few massages a week...Courtney may be thinking she got totally ripped off. Hopefully this will start the ball rolling on investigations into these so called high end rehabs that take advantage of desperate people who need help.
