Kapoor Excuse?

The doctor who prescribed Anna Nicole Smith methadone while she was pregnant is firing back at the man claiming that he's not cooperating with the investigation into her death.

After reports that the results of Anna Nicole Smith's autopsy were delayed by the medical examiner so he could examine additional evidence, an attorney for Dr. Sandeep Kapoor says he has nothing to add to the investigation.

Broward County Medical Examiner, Dr. Joshua Perper, had criticized Dr. Kapoor for what he says was the good doctor's refusal to cooperate with his investigation.

As TMZ first reported, Dr. Kapoor prescribed Anna Nicole methadone to her alias while she was pregnant. Ellyn Garofalo, Dr. Kapoor's lawyer, says that he has "been appropriately cautious about protecting the confidentiality of Anna Nicole Smith's medical treatment." She then calls out Dr. Perper, saying, "It's apparent that such caution is justified when the Broward County Medical Examiner makes public statements about a supposedly confidential investigation. The medical examiner's job is to determine the cause of Ms. Smith's death. Dr. Kapoor has no information that will help with that determination. Dr. Kapoor's treatment of Ms. Smith was at all times medically sound and he will continue to cooperate with any formal requests from authorities."

YES SUSAN....I definitely agree with you about Dannielynn's health....she sure seems too tiny and all the drugs and alcohol have to have effects but Debra Opri filed for emergency affidavits that Dannielynn could be in danger and need medical treatment but the Bahama's said this 'fast tracking' that they are doing is soon enough....Just SO CORRUPT THAT THEY MAKE NEW JERSEY AND NEW ORLEANS LOOK CLEAN!

77. . I would look for a CURARE-like chemical better known as a paralytic, such as Vecuronium, Pancuronium and Succinylcholine Ketamine.

It is a tightly controlled substance in hospitals, counted and registered, kept under lock and key. But with the right key, it IS available.

I would START with all these so called "MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS" around her when she died.

79. could there be emails ordering Rxs between anna & the doctors on her computer? controlled substances are strictly regulated, must see doc in person for Rx.

80. maybe the computer is needed for a time line to determine when she may have died or if anyone else was using it while she was supposedly sleeping...who knows..

81. Hey. There are a couple of Florida TV stations now reporting that there WILL be a criminal investigation involving Howard K. Stern.
It seems TMZ was way ahead of the curve on this one.

82. I would think that the only reason Dr. Perper would have to speak to Dr. Kapoor would be if the toxicology showed methadone or any of the other drugs he prescribed back in August were found in ANS system. No??

From the estate?? How does she figure that?

I thought the estate is being held in trust for dannielynn and that meant no one can touch that money unless it is for her personal needs! If that is true then wouldn't it be illegal for stern to use that money to pay his own attorney fees?? Or do I have it all wrong?

90. Wasn't Moe's wife on the computer during the time that Moe and Howie were out of the suite? I remember Moe saying that his wife was keeping an eye one her while they were gone and that she was on the computer. Just wondering if anyone else remembers this.
