When you say you've known American Idol was racist before Rosie told - I'm curious if you remember Rubin Studdard who won, he was very over weight and black.

What about Fantasia? I adore Fantansia and I've watched her move "Life Is Not a Fairy Tail" over & over.

I am aware of the thing going on now about the photos of a previous black contestant & the white contestant. The African American girl said she was paid for her photos and she told American Idol up front she made the photos. Some do not make it to the 'big stage" or the final group who goes on tour, etc., just as this girl was booted off last night.

But the great thing about American Idol is all the Grammy, Golden Globe and now an Oscar won by Jennifer Hudson - many are on Broadway - they've won Teen awards, Billboard Awards, CMA awards & some are in talk TV and there was a time when they were excited for the chance to go to Hollywood and get that recognition. It is too bad so many people want to rain on our parades...but many have suggested I get a back bone & I appreciate that advise. I'm not too old to take it...but I must admit I admire people who do think on there own .

93. Roseann O'Donnell's most realistic movie role was "Riding the Bus With My Sister." There was no acting involved. She just had to be herself.

I wanted Rita Cosby canned and she just was (horrid sounding voice hick from Bakersfield, CA) and now I am hoping Rosie is the next one to go.

102. Idol is the most watched and most popular show on the air. The view......I have never watched and never will, except for the clips they show on other shows of these liberal fish women who look to be forever at that time of the month. Some young Americans who came from out of no where USA have gone onto Idol and then on to become famous and one just won an Academy Award. I am real proud of these young people, and quite ashamed of Rosie O Donnell. ABC needs to change their Liberal format and get with a success story like Fox.........all the shows worth watching are on Fox.....check it out, you would think the other networks sinking lower in the ratings would take a look at the winner. The View is not cool.
