136. america got it right. Sundance was supposed to get Booted off! At least Sanjaya can be taught and still has the Youth and Cute to get him by...Sundance was a one trick pony. Mustang Sally? indeed !!!anyone can sing that song. In our family he was a major turn-off! Like the "EW factor " PU... gross.... ugly.... and just plain you wouldn't go and see him. if he were playing around the corner was huge! You could tell he was trying to fill his father's shoes..Poor guy that has to be hard when Roy Head is your Dad! Someone should have told him to go into medicine.
I think Sabrina got kicked off because of Randy's harsh remark! that the song was non Melodic! that song is great, however not very recognizable...she is a great singer with a good carreer ahead!

137. I think one of the reasons Sundance didn't get more votes is the crying he did last week on the show. You could tell it wasn't heartfelt and he kept watching to make sure the camera was on him. They should also change the voting proceedures and only count 1 vote per phone number. That would stop some of these people from jamming up the phone lines and voting for the losers because they think it is fun.

138. Honestly I felt this guy was a little cocky himself due to the fact his father used to sing. I think after he got in he put off this vibe that his sh** didnt stink or something. After the audition to Hollywood this one fell off. I think America made a good decision. Nothing against him but he was not American Idol material.

140. You know what sucks... American Idol made everyone think that the last decision on who-goes-and-who-stays was between Sundance and Sanjaya when in fact, they usually will not pick the contestants with the lowest number of votes to stand side-by-side in the elimination round... so it's not like Sanjaya got the spot that Sundance "should have had" according to his fans - he may have even been in the top 3-4 with votes for all we know. And personally - his family troubles aside and the fact that he seems like an OK guy - I thought Sundance always sounded like a bad Meatloaf impression anyway. IMHO he was right to be off the show. Sanjaya can sing - he, just like other contestants in recent weeks - has been picking the WORST songs for his voice. The boy needs a coach - and he needs to listen to that coach's advice! If not, his weeks are numbered as well. It's do or die in American Idol!

142. Sundance shouldn't have made it into the top 24 nevermind the top 12. It was Paula that pushed him through. The only good performance he had was his audition and downhill from there. If you all would admit it whether you liked him or not he sounded totally horrible last night; off key and wasn';t even in sync with the music.

Although Sanjaya is not a strong singer, he was on key.

The only shockers IMO was Sabrina this week and AJ last week.

144. Why is Sanjaya still on?!!! Even though he can't sing, there's no reason to start name calling him because of his ethnicity! That has nothing to do with how he sings!
I can't believe Haley is still on, either. I really thought Sabrina sang well, looked good and has a good figure. The other girls sound great, but frankly, I am tired of hearing R&B girl singers! let's get some different types of singers on. Yes, Stephanie, Melinda and Lakisha (bad wigs) sing great, but yawn! I am tired of hearing that type of music...so I am voting for Gina(rocker type). As for the boys, boring,too. Nobody sounds as great as my fave Chris Daughtry...so I really don't care.
By the way, whatever happened to that cute guy who looked like that model Tyson??? Does anyone remember him? He was young (16 or 17), was adopted by a Colombian family....he went to Hollywood, but I don't remember seeing any clips on him during Hollywood week.
So anyway, American idol this year only has so-so talent compared to previous years. I stopped voting after AJ got booted off.
Finally, I am amazed that skank Antonella stayed on for so long! She truly wasn't getting it when Simon kept saying she wasn't a good singer--she kept saying she doesn't want to compare herself to the other girl singers,that each of them were unique--yeah, they could sing and she COULDN'T! Now she can go back to Joisy and pretend to be like Paris and Nicole with her BFF...
Sorry for the long post! It's a sunny 75 degrees here in SoCal so now I'm going outside to enjoy it!

145. I think that the mystery person, though Sundance didn't want to say anything, might be Blake Lewis. Blake's choices of current, arty songs make him look arrogant. That he's the anti-covers person. That he doesn't tackle older numbers like the other finalists. And that he's boasting that he wants to win it all.
As for Sundance, I hope that some record company execs give him offers soon to be on their label. He should stay at it and get better on his craft. I liked his bluesy voice, but he just seemed overchallenged by American Idol's song system.

147. It's funny everyone is comparing Sundance to Sanjaya, and that Sundance can sing better then Sanjaya. He just happened to be paired up to Sanjaya in the results show. If we're really looking for people that needed to be kicked off, what about Phil Stacey? If Sundance was left standing next to Blake, no one would care that Sundance was leaving, or if Sanjaya was standing next to Jared, then again, it wouldn't matter that Sanjaya was still there. But b/c the two were standing next to each other, then we automatically compare them.
Get over it. None of the guys deserve to win. Crown Melinda, and lets just get it over with. So You Think You Can Dance better provide some better competition.

148. Sundance screwed himself. He never had a single decent performance after his tryout. Even on Jeremy (which was a decent song choice) he was out of control and off-pitch. If he wants to be mad, he should be mad at himself. If he wasn't so damn likeable, he wouldn't have survived as long as he did.

Sanjaya is a decent singer for a young kid who loves mellow R&B. He hasn't had a single performance as weak as Sundance's. He probably doesn't have the range to survive much longer.

Haley and Sabrina. Now that...THAT was a TRAGEDY.

Blake and Melinda are out front, with Chris Sligh, LaKisha and Jordin just behind. A few others have a chance, but things would have to change a lot for one of those 5 not to win.

149. I was surprized to see Sundance and Sabrina leave this early. I really thought Sabrina would win the whole competition. She has the voice and the looks for a great pop star.

150. I believe the reason Sundance was eliminated was because he's such a good singer, everyone thought he had it made, in terms of votes. So they neglected him and concentrated on other people they didn't want to lose such as Sanjaya. People like his personality.
