50. I love Regis and Kelly. I watch it every day before I go to work and it gets me in a good mood. These haters here are whorible! I love Regis seperate and Kelly seperate and together even more. I am VERY curious as to whom they will choose to be co-host. For soem reason Kelly and Mark do not have TV chemistry eve though they are married. I bet it will behim though as he is the east threatening and Kelly will have a big say.

51. How are the ratings when Mark and Kelly are on together? I'm sure Gilman will have the final say as he chose Kelly. It's about money and the rating are the most important. So that's what the hot co-host week was about-they were tryingpossible fill ins.

52. Hope everything goes well for you and you have a speedy recovery, Regis. I don't think you could find a better co-host than "Clay Aiken". I think he would do you proud. I think Kelly is not going to work well with anyone, as she appears to be a little spit-fire and she feels "she" is in "charge" in your absence and takes total control; but whenever there is a co-host (whoever) she should share the stage. If Clay is selected, I think he will be able to handle what comes up better from his experience the last time. It also adds to his character and illustrates what a good man he is being able to return after having an uncomfortable experience the first time. Again, I think "Clay" would be a perfect choice as co-host.

54. Regis: We are praying for you. Everything will be fine. I know you work out all the time at the gym, so you are in good shape and will come out of this better then ever.

As for Kelly and co-hosts. If she would have given Clay a chance to talk he wouldn't have tried to be funny. His joke back-fired and he didn't even know it until she berated him publicly from coast to coast. She showed herself in a bad light. I used to like her until that happened. Rosie was right, as was proven by her co-host Mario Lopez the other day. Watch out Mark, you might have a problem on your hands. Clay was terrific on the Tyra Banks show, and also with Mike and Juliet. They seemed to like him a lot.
Kelly acted like she didn't like him. It's all about her anyway. I hadn't noticed that before, but it's obvious now. I probably won't watch the show unless there is someone I like Co-hosting. Regis, we will miss you dearly.

55. Isn't it amazing how few positive quotes about Kelly are posted here. Obviously people just don't like her and wish she wasn't on the show.
The way she stares at herself in the monitors and interrupts Regis just annoys the hell out of me. I've never seen a person more stuck on herself than Kelly is.

56. I love Regis!! I just think he needs so stop and smell the roses and maybe after he has this surgery he will do so. He needs to relax more. Remember last year he was flying to LA every week to tape America's Got Talent and a few years before that he was doing Millionaire. He also goes on the road performing with Susan Lucci, plays tennis and goes to the gym all the time, and according to his daily talk show banter he and Joy go out somewhere every night!!!
As for Kelly, I used to like her but now she seems she seems to try to run the whole show and is so stuck on herself.
Regarding the Clay Aiken incident, I am sure if Anderson Cooper or Jeff Probst or Jeff Gordon had put their hand over her mouth she would not have said to them what she said to Clay. She just said it to get a laugh because she disliked him as a co-host.

58. I want to send my prayers to the good loard above to protect Mr.Regis Philbin during his sergury and for a quick recovery,and be back "Live" for our entertainment. The show takes Two. Kelly is the perfect match up for Regis and I can see a definate kinship w/them two. I love em together. Kelly will hold her own while Regis is recovering,and that day when he returnes will be a huge celebration. The TV ratings will blow the roof off.

59. Regis, my 3 year old son was born at 24 weeks, it was the most difficult time of my life. I will be 25 weeks pregnant tomorrow with my second child and have been on bed rest for 3 weeks now as this baby is threatening to come early too. I am terrified to go through the battle of having a premie again. I watch your show every morning and you and Kelly make me laugh for an hour and I forget how scared I am. I am a die hard believer in the power of positive thinking so stay positive, get well soon. I have 11 weeks of bed rest to go, I hope, and I need you back with Kelly to make me laugh, you are in my thoughts and prayers,
