Birkhead to Stern: Put Up or Shut Up

A smiling Larry Birkhead emerged from Los Angeles County Superior Court just moments ago, where he asked a judge to make Howard K. Stern come to California and submit to DNA testing to determine exactly who Dannielynn Stern's father really is.

Birkhead's lawyer, Debra Opri, said she was confident that Stern would be made to come to California, and she also said that Stern "can't hide behind a fake birth certificate" and that his "feet will be held to the fire."

Ron Rale, Stern's attorney, spoke just after Opri, and finally acknowledged what TMZ has already reported-- that Stern, Birkhead, and South Carolina businessman Ford Shelley met privately several weeks ago in his hotel room (without him) to discuss settling their paternity and financial disputes-- but no deal has resulted. Rale also said that no agreement has been made to exchange paternity for part of Dannielynn's future inheritance, saying that Birkhead isn't even named in the will.

Birkhead, for his part, said, "I'm just doing what I have to do for my daughter," and that for him, holding Dannielynn for the first time in the Bahamas "was like being in the delivery room."

Yes, it would SUCK if Larry were not the Father!! he has fought long and hard for his daughter!!! That would be a shame!!

63. Time for Howie FrankenStern to go live in the crack house on the other side of the island.

Hire a PROFESSIONAL nanny for Dannilynn (one with no stake in this) and give Howie supervised visitation.

Can Howie clean up his act and be a proper "daddy"? I doubt it, but he should be made to go through the same as any other parent in a custody battle.

Larry Birkhead is going to be a great father to his biological love child. Anna was in love with him, he just wouldn't play her little game and so she thought she could string him along. She would have been back with him.....

67. Lets hope Larry is the father, before Danny Lynn hits 21, gets implants for her birthday and carries on in the tradition of buying Howard shoes and underwear, as he should have squandered her inheritance by then.

Rales is as creepy as Stern, but then birds of a feather flock togetther. Whose lawyer is he anyway? He isn't accting in the best interests of the estate thats for sure. He is right up there wasting that estate money left right and centre. He should be telling Howie enough of this crap, do the DNA but then his cash cow stops too. He and Stern would be left without a pot to piss in. Who else would ever hire the losers.. Poor Danny Lynn what a buch of creeps her mother left that poor babys well being in.

69. Go Larry Go... Any man who fights this hard for a child deserves a fair chance.... I think that he does not feel like he will get a fair chance in the Bahamas... Which is probably true look how fast Anna Nicole received residency.. All I have to say for a man to do what larry is doing really gives danielynn a real chance to be have a normal (whatever that is) life with at least 1 loving parent left....And If I were Larry birkhead I would keep that baby as far from Howard K Stern as possible after I got custody..

70. If Birkhead and Opri win the Bahamas case tomorrow (fraudulent birth certificate) then ... that clears the way for them to get Dannielynn's DNA. I sure hope they get what they want tomorrow.

71. I'm a little confused. Larry's testimony in court (when they were fighting over Anna's body) was that Anna retuned from South Carolina on December 31, 2005 and they were together since then until May or so. The baby was born September 7, 2006. Is my math bad or the baby was born before the due date or Larry is too naive? (One of the 3 :) )

Due date: September 7, 2006

74. Hey Leslie #50... I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed the demeanor of Ronny Railroader. Shuffling back and forth. Fiddling with his Blackberry instead of listening to Opri. Not looking up at the reporters in front of him........ He is definitely running scared. He knows the truth. He knows his client killed 2 people. He knows the date stamp on his fax machine wasn't off. R.R. has blood on his hands right along with HK$. They should dis-bar him and put him away with HK$ when all is said and done.

75. HKScum is just that. I really hope Larry is the father of that baby, it would stand a better chance at life. Sad enuf that she will have to grow up seeing tapes & videos of what a wierdo her mother was....what a way to learn about your mom! So sad.... maybe they should have creamated Anna and scattered her ashes all over the world and they would have landed somewhere near anyone that could have been that baby's father! Anna was a true train wreck....thats what mad her famous--nothing else. But Howard was nothing more than her purse carrying money grabber! He never tapped into her....only her bank account which he is still living off of. Since they didn't own the house, he's not a resident of the Bahama's and may have to leave anyway.....its coming around HKScum....its gonna be ur turn. Too many have died with your knowledge! You will never fess up, of course, but you will never be anything....who would hire you now? You are left only with those lip gloss boys and hanger-ons who lived off of Anna.....God Bless this baby, she has a hard life in front of her either way! But out of all the leeches, Larry seems the most stable and truly loving one to care for her. And I don't think he is a leech, or he would have been there promoting Anna as a freak like the rest of them were. Then she would have left him stay in her life.
