Birkhead to Stern: Put Up or Shut Up

A smiling Larry Birkhead emerged from Los Angeles County Superior Court just moments ago, where he asked a judge to make Howard K. Stern come to California and submit to DNA testing to determine exactly who Dannielynn Stern's father really is.

Birkhead's lawyer, Debra Opri, said she was confident that Stern would be made to come to California, and she also said that Stern "can't hide behind a fake birth certificate" and that his "feet will be held to the fire."

Ron Rale, Stern's attorney, spoke just after Opri, and finally acknowledged what TMZ has already reported-- that Stern, Birkhead, and South Carolina businessman Ford Shelley met privately several weeks ago in his hotel room (without him) to discuss settling their paternity and financial disputes-- but no deal has resulted. Rale also said that no agreement has been made to exchange paternity for part of Dannielynn's future inheritance, saying that Birkhead isn't even named in the will.

Birkhead, for his part, said, "I'm just doing what I have to do for my daughter," and that for him, holding Dannielynn for the first time in the Bahamas "was like being in the delivery room."

Here we go again, why is this not going on in nassu.I am really anxious for this child to find its real dad.Hearing barth on court tv talking about ms gibson taking care of this child should raise concern for larry and virgie arthur.I also thought that annas will was not legal if that is so why is stern the excechuter of this.Rale is saying stern is in control of anns estate and her money,Did he not step aside in florida from this exact thing.What is rale and all of sterns lawerys and croonies up to.I feel there will never be justice for this child and howard stern will get away with all.Regarding annas death and daniel concern for her, then both have died in a mysteries way should someone in that camp be held responsible. young people just do not die ,someone gave these pills to both of these people and its time to hold stern , kapoor, gibsons and all of these so called lawyers to justice.Come on folks we all need to put pressure on.

92. exactly Brenda. I would think the if Larry wants to see if he's the father, he needs dna of himself and of Anna and of the baby. That's his case in a nutshell. If he's not a match, it would be up to $tern or the Bahamas to figure out who the dad is if they want. Larry would have no business in that. Like you can't yell "I think he's not the daddy, do a dna" to the courts. He can only ask for the baby's dna to see if he is the father. Then again, this is all so confusing. I enjoy watching it for the questions of international law just like the crimes on cruises, but so far I don't see anyone winning, although $tern may be losing. Not sure if the chain of evidence would allow $tern's dna taken for the question of paternity and then used in criminal investigation. I think they would have to arrest him for something and get his dna. I see alot more coming up....$tern's visitor's pass expiring, no will be filed with the courts anywhere, no probate opened (or filed) anywhere, etc

93. They have been doing this from both CA and the Bahamas and then FL when Anna died there...HK$ is a US citizen and resides in the state of CA. He has no way of even getting residency in the Bahamas (needs a 1/2 million dollar house) and it normally takes months and months NOT 3 weeks like Shane fast tracked ANS! He will soon be booted from 'Horizons" and Team Birkhead KNOW this....THAT house was on loan to ANS and they never signed or agreed to anything with Stern. ANS was going to pay Thompson with a Trimspa check but HK$ decided they needed a yacht instead since they may need further jurisdictional complications to keep Larry from his daughter....Remember, BOTH Anna and Howard tried to pin Dannielynn on G.Ben Thompson FIRST since they thought his millions would intimidate Larry into giving up on drug testing Anna and the Baby and getting custody and they could just throw him a "visitation bone"! However, when the VASECTOMY on Thompson blew that sceme...that just left Gay Howard and the Phony commitment ceremony while Daniel was still rotting in the morgue! All this so Anna could keep doing drugs and HK$ could keep control over the heirs to the Marshall fortune that he's humiliated himself for over 10 years to get. " PATHETIC" IS WHAT THEY ARE IN A WORD!

94. how much child support is larry paying?if he indeed the pappy,zero,plus zero = how much?but he is sure he is the pappy,he could have a trust fund set up in danny-lynns name,if is that sure he is the daddy,I see why anna ran from this guy,he has money for a attorney,0+0= how much? Larry is all about the money just like mom, it just shows you that they had control to help anna when she was alive,but now she dead they want the control,howard was with anna thick and thin,he should take care of danny lynn,anna would have not had howard around if she didnt want howard around,grow up larry act like a man

98. Why in the world would anyone look at Opri if they didn't have too?

Opri called a press conference to release the details of a court hearing involving a minor child? That's something I don't think she should be doing, regardless of WHO the biological father is.

The birth certificate is fake so therefore Dannilynn is not a Bahamian..Calif. court and Bahamian court will work together..Larry has already filed case in the Bahamas..Calif is asking Bahamian Court to work with them. The birth certificate was not signed by a Doctor or Mid-Wife but was signed by one of Sterns Attorneys!

The Officials in the Bahamas had better wake up and cooperate with the United States, They make a fortunate on our tourists, they have rich American' s with homes there, who may become worried , what if I have a legal problem? They also have $$$$$$$$$$$ in their banks from US offshore accounts that they want hidden. They do NOT need this kind of publicity over something that is not going to help them. They already blocked off and have guards at the Cemetary because the tourists are tearing it apart. They have officials in the limelight who are in bad situations. GIVE IT UP BAHAMA.
