Before she was a "Mean Girl," Rachel McAdams was just a short-haired third grader in St. Thomas, Ontario.
A loyal TMZ reader sent us her third grade class photo with her classmate, Miss McAdams. While we certainly couldn't recognize her from the plaid, knee-high dress -- who could miss Rachel's trademark wide-mouthed grin?
We called and emailed Rachel's reps to confirm it's her, but we didn't hear back. What do you think?

This is NOT in ERIN Ontario, it is in St.Thomas Ontario. Myrtle street public school, grade 3 class of the 1986/1987 school year with Mrs Frey as the teacher!! How do i know? I am in the picture!! I graduated from this school in grade 6 with Rachel! LOL!!

19. This photo was taken in St Thomas Ontario Canada. The name of the school (which is clearly stated in the picture on the message board) is Myrtle Elementary School (Address is 43 Myrtle Street, St Thomas Ontario Canada). If you don't believe us do a yellow pages search for the name of the school (All the information you need to do the search is listed above) I come from London Ontario which is approx 20 minutes from St Thomas Ontario. London is the closest big city to St Thomas which is a relatively small town. I think Rachel was even born in a hospital in London. Now that we have solved that and shut a few people up who don't know what they are talking about lets discuss how terrible it is for people to badmouth people they don't know. It is very rude and inappropriate to call this woman a bitch. What has she don to you? what has she done to deserve that? I know everyone on this site is so used to reading about our other young hollywood actors and their bad behaviour and trips to rehab and jail but why can't we talk about an actress who doesn't do things to be a "media whore" without calling her a bitch? it just goes to show what type of people come to this site. People who want gossip and don't give a shit about the people they are bad mouthing. I'd like to say to Rachel "Great Job, You are representing Canada with class and dignity and congratulations to you for not letting the hollywood lifestyle bring you down!"

20. Thank you to everyone who has a brain enough to know that this picture is of Rachel! Thanks to the fellow Canadians from this area who can say "yes" we know our facts and this is her old school in St Thomas. I just hope that every website out there will re-do their bios of her and print her actual bday----in 1978----- and stop saying she was born in 75 or 76. Does she look that old to you? Do your research people! Why don't you go to the source and ask her or her reps yourselves? She is a great actor, and she doesn't deserve you people calling her names. The last time I checked, she has been with the same man for years, not weeks! She doesn't crave the media attention that some other sluts in the industry do! Have respect for a great person.

A. Those kids were my friends in Erin Ontario, not St Thomas.

Did you ever think that maybe the birthday info is WRONG!! Her reps say she was born in 1978 so why can't anyone get that??? All of the BIOS of her are wrong! Her reps confirm this, but everyone is too lazy to care to change it. It is her, get over it!! By the way, tmz has proof of her being in the grade 6 graduating class of this school in the 89-90 school year, they haven't posted it yet. LOL!!
