Star Keeps Her Trap Shut

For once in her life, Star Jones had absolutely nothing to say.

Newly-revamped Court TV talk show host-to-be Starzilla was accosted by a fan/stalker/provocateur just outside of Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. As she tried to ignore his verbal prodding, Star just iced up, second by second.

The man just wouldn't take "no" for an answer. In fact, he wouldn't take any answer at all, as he continued to blather on, hardly taking a breath, until Star ducked into a handy lobby for cover.

61. I do agree when Star started on the show she has a certain expertise that few of the
others had. I think Barbara and her staff picked a panel of girls that are knowledgible
in many different categories and they DID NOT seem to have to screem their comments
over the other one that was talking as much as they do now.
When Star started loosing weight she seemed to have an attitude about just how
"wonderful" she was and it went downhill from there..
Yes, I think she looked better when she was heavier but that was her decision.
I do not think that Barbara is an easy person to work for. Her name is all that needs
to be mentioned to make people sit up and take notice.
The show was a great idea that I think people related to but has changed in the last
year alone. Guess some of us need the old days back.

62. Forget about your vicious criticism of Star. I agree with 41 all the way. Sounds like most of you are watching too much of "Rosie's View". I've never heard so much hatred-inciting, self-righteous,bitter negativity in all my life, as when I last tuned in to Rosie's show. It's truly quite amazing how, no matter what the subject, she turns it into homophobia, racial and political conflict,or weight issues. Can't believe ABC and Barbara will stand for such crap much longer. At least I hope not; I used to enjoy the View, and I think most would agree Star did a good job, whether you like her or not. But conflict makes ratings just so far. There's a fine line that's crossed when conflict becomes hatred. And GO STAR!! Glad you're outa there!

64. Every time Star Jones is photographed, and ever since she shed all of her rump roast. she looks more & more like Boris Karloff. She has those big capped teeth that look like
piano keys. Whoever is telling her that she is a gorgeous Diva, is lying to her.
She and her friend Diana Ross are pitiful. Theylook like two old dead black hags, who came to life, and escaped from The House Of Wax.
