Why Did a 90210 Doc Send Demerol to Anna's Address?

TMZ has obtained an air waybill describing two powerful prescription drugs that were sent to Anna's Bahamas mailing address when she was eight months pregnant.


The name of the doctor on the waybill is Maurice Levy, who practices internal medicine in Beverly Hills. The airbill shows the following drugs were sent to Vickie Marshall (aka Anna Nicole Smith) in the Bahamas on or about August 8, 2006 -- Vitamin B12, Vitamin B complex, Vitamin Gama, Dalmane (a drug for sleeping disorders) and Demerol (a morphine-like drug).

TMZ has spoken to Dr. Levy, who confirmed that prescriptions were sent but not written for Anna. Dr. Levy would not say for whom they actually were written. He also would not say why they were sent to Vickie Marshall if they were not for her.

Dr. Levy also told TMZ his relationship with Anna was "professional and not personal." He added, "I did some cosmetic thing, that's all."

31. well i guess when need prescription drugs like it seems anna nicole did ,you have many many doctors who knows nothing about the other docs and what their prescribing i think they call doctor shopping in the celebrity world ,very popular with the famous crowd i'm sure ,and if it wasn't for anna nicole then why was it sent in her name is another big questionmakes no sense i know los angeles has a lot of quack doctors but who knew it was the whole city

34. Has anyone stopped to think, that taking drugs was Anna's choice. So, let's stop pointing the finger at Howard. He did her bidding. If anyone else is to blame and the doctors who prescribed them.

35. It should be noted that Dalmane carries a precaution of suicidal tendencies and depression along with pulmonary, renal and hepatic disease, and may cause adverse reactions of CNS depression.
I wonder if the prescribing doctor knew she was battling depression after her son's death.

37. No offense but this is not true - the doctors take a code of ethics and he would not comment either way on this as to who or who not the drugs are written for. Why? Well he can lose his license to practice.

42. Hmmm..Remember it was reported that Daniel was having SLEEPING difficulties when he arrived in the Bahamas. I wonder if HKS gave Daniel the sleeping pill or pills, among the other substances he had in him?? Geesh, this just gets worse as the reports come out.

44. Doesn't anyone wonder why the baby was not born an addict? If ANS took 1/2 the drugs it appears she did while she was pregnant it seems the baby would be in withdrawl.

45. Why is it so easy to get prescription drugs if your in the limelight? Marilyn Monroe also was prescibed huge doses of medication. Even if HKS killed Anna Nicole these doctors put the gun in his hand. They should be held accountable too... And, whatever became of the autopsy done on Daniel, why haven't the results been released.
