Birkhead Pulled the Plug

16. I've practiced international law for 20 years and was consistently amazed by Opr's incomprehension of what she was doing. This case would have been wrapped up months ago had she been capable. She was in way over her head and I don't know whether he finally got competent advice or whether there is some other reason.

But Opri doesn't appear to be experienced in even domestic litigation and whether tha'ts the case or not, she made rpeated mistakes that dragged the case out and dramatically increased the cost.

This was truly Amateur Hour. If American Idol judged lawyers, she wouldn't have survived the first audition.

So if Larry now gets experienced counsel, this is a great move for him. Go to www.debraopri.com -- she's a "celebrity" lawyer, not a case lawyer, and certainly not an international litigator.

Virgie's motives are as questionable as everyone else's, I swear
everytime I look at her I can see her salivating with the prospect of the
money associated with Danniellynn.. if there is any justice or sanity left in this world, she will NEVER EVER be granted custody of Danniellynn. BTW, noone has
ever explained why Virgies other children never showed up toANS's funeral with VIrgie...in the face of all the criticism Virgie faced you would like to think 1, just 1 of her other children would have stood up and said something redeeming about their mother..NOT ONE OF HER OTHER CHILDREN EVER ACCOMPANIED VIRGIE TO COURT PROCEEDINGS, INTERVIEWS, ETC EVEN AS MORAL SUPPORT..SILENCE SPEAKS VOLUMES !!

18. It seems as though Burkhead looked and acted like a young boy and she pushed him around and was obnoxious. I hope he gets more aggressive and acts more determined. He needs to stand up and fight. I sure hope he isn't working out an arrangement with that darn Virgie. Darn.

19. Opri was one of the attornies that represented the gloved one, Michael Jackson. What does that tell you about her.
Good riddance to her. There are plenty of other good attornies out there that will gladly
represent Larry Birkhead. Hurry up already and get the DNA so we know once and for all
that that creap Howard Stern isn't the father...like anybody with common sense doesn't already think that.

20. Good for Larry. He probably just wants to settle this thing once and for all, and Opri just wanted to drag it out. She was such a publicity whore. I bet things happen very quickly now in terms of Larry getting Dannielynn. And in terms of Larry trying to cut Howard in on future inheritance, it can't happen. The money would be Dannielynn's, and Larry can't make deals to give it away on her behalf. It just doesn't work that way. It kills me how people can even make Opri being fired by Larry a result of something HKS did.

21. I think that ANS's son Daniel is the father and that LB found out about it and wants to work with HKS to "hide" the secret.

I think a DNA test was already done and LB was not the father.

24. I think she was using this entire story for her own moment of fame. I think it may prove to be a good move for Larry, but who will represent him now??? He needs someone. I think Larry and HKS are speaking privately more than she would like. She is not in the inner circle as much as she would have liked. A loud pushy arrogant lawyer like that can cause more problems than good for Larry. It all is dependant on the Bahamas judge so now he has a Bahama lawer and that should prove to be for the best for him. I wish him luck. I like him. I think he is the real Father.

25. Excellent! Opri was always too over-confidant, arrogant and threatening. Lawyers should keep their clients' cards close to the vest. I wonder who his new attorney is. Whose arguing his paternity case in the Bahamas today? I haven't checked court tv so far today. Watching Valerie Plame on C-Span...

27. Its about ET, they Larry to go ET to be with Howard for the long hall to save Howards reputation. Also he wants the house down there and the boat, and to be Executor for her life. Larry you are are going to lose. How sad to see this happen. He wants the baby. I hope they never get the money from the Marshall estate.

30. Opri told people he wanted her to do things that were unethical!! Watch Jean on Court Tv. I guess Stern is getting to him. But she did tell Birkhead alledgedly of course not to let Stern tell you you dont need a lawyer cause you do need a lawyer.....
