Birkhead Pulled the Plug

TMZ has learned that the relationship between Larry Birkhead and Debra Opri was kaput several days ago, and it was Birkhead who ended it.

Today Opri has said that there were things Birkhead wanted her to do that made her uncomfortable. We know Birkhead is saying it was he who was uncomfortable for various reasons.

TMZ is aware of multiple reasons why the two parted company. As we first reported, they were butting heads over various issues for weeks. Because of confidences, TMZ cannot be more specific. But we know that last Tuesday, Birkhead sent Opri an e-mail discharging her.

49. Weren't the two of them chummy just the other day after the CA hearing? They were smiling and cahooting all over the place. Opri had her ugly mug in the camera and Larry was in the background, as usual. Waaaaaaa happened?

52. LB does not need an attorney now. The DNA has been done on the "spit-up" from the baby and it is or is not LB baby and he thinks he needs to go to HKS to make a deal to keep the mother from getting the baby. Patty

53. They both said the other did something that made them uncomfortable. I think she was coming on to Larry. In all the pictures I've seen of the two of them, she is always hanging on his arm. Seems to me she wanted a little something more than to just win the case. Kudos to Larry for dumping her!!!

55. #20 - I agree with the first portion of your comment! I have thought all along that Opri was to "hands on" if you know what I'm saying! She was screaming how HKS's relationship with Anna was inappropriate and yet EVERY WHERE you saw Larry - she was there! She was always hugging him, holding his hands, even touching his butt!! And YES - - - why would she be at Anna's funeral???? One said earlier that she is a publicity whore! So agree!! She would push Larry out of the spotlight - and anyone else for that matter - to get her voice on TV!!

As far as Howard - I think that he is protecting the true identity of Dannielynn's father. I will bet that Larry isn't the Daddy either!!! Howard is just doing what Anna wanted and he truly didn't want Vergie or Larry to see the baby - mostly Vergie!

If you Google J. Howard Marshall II and see pictures of him when he was younger - I SO believe that he is the babies Daddy!!!!

56. Even tho Opri was a little obnoxious at times (that goes for all of the attorneys), I thougth she was a fighter and that is just what he needed.

I did read somewhere that Howard had a lot of dirt on Birkhead and was going to make sure the media got it.

I just hope he isn't making a deal with Stern (Satan) ............. he will regret it.............

58. I agree with you JulieS_22. I think Larry is running out of money and wants to get this thing over and come to a compromise with Howard. That could be really bad news for Larry for Howard is a crafty lawyer (taking to Anna to the Bahamas where he knew the paternity laws, etc.) Larry could wind up dead too although we know it won't be from an overloaded medical cocktail that Howard produces for his victims.
