77. She was the one that wouldn't let Larry negotiate with Howard. He had supposedly offered to let DL be tested at the meeting with FS and HKS, according to FS (who has no reason to say HKS offered to do anything). She threw up the "no negotiating thing", but when there is a lawsuit involved, there is always negotiation--at the very least, they'd have to agree to drop the litigation if he complied and let her be tested and for LB to have custody of DL if he was the father. I think DO was the one obstructing the whole process.

79. This is not a big surprise as Opri was being to argumentive. Saying for Howard to put up or shut up. We know Howard was holding out for deals, publicity and building this story up to be a Marlyn Monroe mystery twist. So the blowup in court just looked bad on her. I at one time thought My God she is going to blow this whole thing just for publicity sake. She may not have meant to look that way but I believe it was shocking to everyone her behavior in court and on some news programs. Oprie may be a great Attorney. She became to emotional
We pray Larry will not lose his head and make wrong decisions as Anna for the wrong reason. Larry stay focused. Don't waiver.. Don't be used or allow yourself to get a big head over the publicity or you could lose it all. My prayers for what is right for Dannielynn and yourself. I'm with both of you on this one. Put all aside, Opri was a fantastic lawyer. She did not just roll over and play dead, she got up to the plate and she took on Team Stern and all their careful wrangling with words.

She took on Team Stern 2 nights ago on Larry King, stating that her client was being called 10 x a day by Stern and being pressured into making a deal and signing a new " non disclosure agreement"

This announcement should have been kept confidential and quiet until after the hearing today.

Larry has made a huge mistake and I always thought that if he did not have Debra Opri, he would have resorted to being the same wimpy, weak Larry he was when Stern tried to hardball him to signing non disclosures or threatening him he would never see the child.

Larry you made a very bad decision.

86. It's truly a shame not only for Birkhead, BECAUSE he has to start the whole process ALL over. A new attorney will have to take the time to get up to speed with the case and who knows by then what evil Howie will have enacted. I like Opri. She was a lady that didn't mess. Birkhead will need someone like that. It also sounds to me like Birkhead has already cut a deal with Howie and that may be more of the reason WHY Opri said 'nuf is 'nuf. Maybe too, Opri is more realistic and told Birkhead that going into court today WILL NOT be a slamdunk and they might just have to go back to California to further proceed with the child issue. So, Birkhead had already seen Dannylynn, Howie is leaning into his ear about cutting him a deal if he agrees to use his child as bait. Geez....none of the parties involved are worth it for that child. And, what if it comes back that Howie DID do something to speed up Anna's demise? What's Birkhead gonna do then? All this just leaves more and more of a bad taste in my mouth. And, now we have Virgie trying to get custody today in court too? It may prove that Virgie should be the one that gets Dannylynn.

From the last news conference ( where Opri tried to join Howard Stern in the suit and was put on hold 2 weeks to see what the Bahamas would do 1st ) Birkhead was seen pacing back and forth the entire time she was talking. I got the distinct impression that he was frustrated with HER, not the issue, not the press. Dying to know the full story behind this parting of the ways.

New Yorkers are actually quite nice. Opri is an embarrassment To NY the same way Virgie & Co. are an embarrassment to Many people I have spoken to in Texas. It is clearly a stereotype about NY. It is very diverse and trust me....Not everyone is a brute, rude, loud obnoxious and mean spirited like Opri "butch".
