Hottie James Marsden has ditched his "X-Men" brethren (and sexpots like Halle Berry and Famke Janssen) for a dress-wearing John Travolta -- talk about a downgrade!
Making a split from comic book movies ("X-Men" and "Superman Returns"), Marsden showed off his vocal prowess at ShoWest this week, at an event for his next flick, the film version of the musical "Hairspray" ... and damn, boy can sing!
The movie also stars Queen Latifah, who snatched an Oscar nom for "Chicago," and Michelle Pfeiffer, who proved her singing voice 25 years ago in the craptacular "Grease 2."

(Page 1 of 1)Dude riffing with his Bud and just digging what he's doing. How damn refreshing is that? Love that positive energy, James.
James is one of the nicest young guys in the business, truly!! Loves acting and respects it and you will never see him hanging out...he loves his wife :)
Gotta love him!
Where have y'all been? Marsden always has been a singer as well as an actor.
He sang more than once on Ally McBeal ...
yep he can sing and he is nice...he sings some crappy Disney songs in the upcoming ENCHANTED this summer. The songs are totally gay and shitty disney crap that the masses eat up but he does perform them well...
Uhhh...Excuse me...The divalcious, musical Michelle Pfeiffer best showed her singing chops in her Oscar nominated turn in "The Fabulous Baker Boys" . If we keep ignoring "Grease 2" maybe it will go away.
Erm, he also sang in the short lived TV show "Second Noah". You guys are a day late and a dollar short. James is the total package. He can act. He can sing. And he's so good looking it ought to be illegal. I say again why is this guy not an A-list leading man instead of the supporting actor that people can never remember?
