Haley Scarnato Is Covered in Kat Hair!

It looks like "American Idol" wannabe Haley Scarnato is sporting the same hair extensions previously worn by last season's runner-up, Katharine McPhee. Unbeweavable!

On-set sources tell TMZ that it's not uncommon for the show to recycle things like hair extensions, jewelry and other pricey accessories from contestant to contestant and from season to season. Just keep the communal lady locks away from Sanjaya!

A few weeks back, Simon revealed he couldn't remember Haley's name. Perhaps the McPheever mane will help Haley leave a lasting impression. Or not.

Update:

In a conversation with Lisa Fox on Star 98.7's Morning Show, "American Idol" hair guru Dean Banowetz admitted the extensions belonged to Kat. Don't worry, Banowetz says he "washed them up" before using them on Haley.

31. You people have no idea what you are talking about. Haley,Sanjaya and the other Idols this year are all GREAT singers or they would'nt have made it this far in the competition. As you may or may not know, These singers went through at least two auditions mostly three before they even sang for Simon, Paula, and Randy. They all have it hard there in Hollywood, from Sanjaya being critisized constantly on a global scale, remember he is only 17 years old. Could you have handled all this pressure? Doubtful!!! Haley is a wonderful singer first of all, Then she happens to be a knockout. I spend my two hours every week voting for my Favorite singer. Do you vote? Doubtful!!

32. McPhee sucks!! She only knows how to sing ONE song, Over the Rainbow. And Haley wears the extensions better than mcphee. The only good thing that came out of this season AI is Haley. The rest of them suck. Especially Sanjaya. Good riddance!! Now let's hope Melinda is next to get voted off.
