Britney -- I Got My Life Back !!!!

TMZ has learned Britney Spears will be leaving rehab this week, and she has made one of the most amazing turnarounds in celebrity memory.

Sources say Britney and soon-to-be ex Kevin Federline had an "amazing meeting" on Sunday. They are not only getting along, they are hammering out the terms of custody. We're told when Britney gets out, she and Kevin have agreed to a 50/50 split with physical custody of their two children. The plan is for Britney to eventually gain primary custody and Kevin will have visitation.

Jamie Lynn, Britney's sister, and Brit's mom, Lynne, have been at Kevin's house helping with the kids while Britney has been getting her own help in rehab. And that help is working. We're told she has literally turned her life around. Stay tuned.

Sanjaya -- Bottoming Out?

A source tells TMZ that 17-year-old "American Idol" contestant Sanjaya Malakar's cheery smile is simply a front ... and privately, the winsome teen is actually bumming.

A source close to Sanjaya's family revealed exclusively to TMZ that the darling hula-dancer has been devastated by recent bad press he's received over his not-so-precious singing. "He's so young and so sensitive, it's hard for him to go out on that stage and not have that devastation affect his performance," said the source.

support system for the adorable teenager as he hulas his way through this sometimes surreal experience as one of the remaining 11 American Idols. It's unlikely that Sanjaya will have to endure it much longer. He was in the bottom two last week.

Judgment Day in Anna Nicole Paternity Dispute

Here we go again. The parties in the Anna Nicole Smith paternity battle are expected in court in the Bahamas today, and sources tell TMZ that this is the day the judge will probably force everyone to pony up DNA samples to determine who Dannielynn's daddy really is.

What's more, we're told experts in DNA are scheduled to testify in a secret hearing. And sources inside the case say if Howard K. Stern is ordered to produce DNA samples of Dannielynn, he will comply. But TMZ reported yesterday that rumors that Dannielynn's DNA has already been taken in advance of today's hearing just weren't true.

They may be crowning a new queen this week, but Miss USA pageant organizers are going to squeeze every last bit of PR juice they can from their most famous bad girl, Tara Conner. The show's executive producer Phil Gurin tells the AP that the rehabbed conner will be "all over our telecast" on Friday, and that they're "not going to shy away from referring to what happened." After TMZ revealed allegations of alcohol and drug abuse by Conner in the early months of her reign, the beauty queen was nearly deposed – and was then given a second chance by Donald Trump to keep her crown. No word on whether appearances will be made on the telecast by Miss Nevada Katie Rees and Miss New Jersey Ashley Harder.

Although Kimmie had for some reason gone into hiding right after ANS died & then did an interview after attending the funeral, & it sounded like she was saying HKS wouldn't have hurt either ANS or Daniel.....Who knows???????

21. From the sounds of it maybe the good Dr. E. wanted to road test the drugs herself before hand. As a general rule, if you're with a hardcore addict and you're not trying to get them help it's a pretty good bet that you're either an enabler or an addict also. At least being ANS "friend" affords her the really good stuff AND SPECIAL DELIVERY!!!!!

22. Post #18,,,,,,,I've been saying it all along.....HKS was an enabler & a gigolo,ANS was a junkie/drugged out whore....However a gorgeous woman even if she was surgically enhanced!!! Way prettier than Marilyn, but more tragic, since she made her own chaotic life, & was very dependent on HKS, her supplier, & now it sounds like the lady doc is involved in it too!!!!!!Maybe their in it together. I knew she wasn't bonding with the baby, it was just a trophy for her to rub in Larrys face, & get $$$ for the interviews on ET. You could tell on some of the interviews how the baby was crying in the background & even when ans was holding her, something just wasn't right..... Poor tragic woman who has created a big circus, however I think she would've loved every minute of it!!!!!

26. Adrlau, I can agree with you somewhat. But if ANS wanted the drugs she could always get them somewhere else other than HKS. Im not saying that he is right, but the fact that ANS did not want any help and she took the drugs you can't always put the blame on HKS.

28. You know, its a shame Emma Watson isn't getting more than Harry Potter movies. She stands out from all the young actors in my opinion. No denying she probably got offers, but why she wouldn't seize the opportunity is beyond me.

Dr. Khristine Eroshevich is digging a deeper hole for herself on TV.

Last night on CBS Paramount TV's syndicated show "The Insider," Eroshevich turned up to defend herself against our revelation from last Friday that she had been giving Anna Nicole Smith a potentially lethal cocktail of heavy drugs including methadone, Soma, Prexige, Ativan and Dilaudid.

But Eroshevich failed to say that it was she who had written and sent the fax from the Bahamas asking for all the drugs. She and "The Insider" simply said who had received it: Anna Nicole's regular doctor, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, of Los Angeles.

And then, "The Insider" neglected another important fact: Dr. Kapoor refused to fill the order.

In fact, this column has learned even more: Eroshevich was put in touch by phone with an addiction and pharmacology expert at a prestigious local university. Smith's local pharmacist, who also refused to fill the prescriptions, put them in touch. The expert told Eroshevich that the medicines and doses she was asking for were inappropriate and dangerous.

"He told her she was in way over her head and that Anna Nicole should be hospitalized," a source who knew about the conversation told me last night.

Eroshevich was referred to treatment centers where Smith's problems — chronic pain and grief over her son's death — could be addressed professionally.

But Eroshevich would have none of it. Even though the expert warned her that the drugs she was ordering were "horrible combinations" and that one dose was enough to kill someone, Eroshevich ignored him.

Luckily, sources say, Kapoor was reassured when he first heard from Eroshevich, Smith and Howard K. Stern, that she was not breastfeeding her newborn baby girl.

Nevertheless, Kapoor was apparently horrified when Eroshevich told him, "I need something to knock her out." And the notion that the baby might be a priority didn't seem to matter.

"She told Kapoor that she hadn't bonded with the baby, and that she had people there to look after her," a source said.

All of this happened on or around Sept. 15, 2006, approximately five months before Smith died. Because "The Insider" and "Entertainment Tonight" have paid Eroshevich for interviews, they are not asking her anything definitive or questioning what went on in the Bahamas at that time or from then on.

Smith became Kapoor's patient in 2004 after he inherited the practice of a physician who retired. He had continued the treatment prescribed by the prior doctor: a low dose of methadone for chronic pain.

"Hundreds of thousands of pregnant women are on methadone. It doesn't affect the placenta," a source said.

Many respected medical journals describe the safety of taking methadone during pregnancy. But the other drugs Eroshevich ordered surprised Kapoor, friends say, especially since he had never heard her name until that day in September.

"Stern told him Eroshevich was a longtime friend," a source said. "He said that they hadn't given Anna anything for pain after her C-section. And Eroshevich said she would be with Anna Nicole 24/7 and that she would administer the drugs herself."

Kapoor responded that he would not send them, and that he was particularly concerned about the dose of Dalmane, which was 12 times the limit.

"Eroshevich told him Anna Nicole was really tolerant of Dalmane," a source said.

But after the phone call and fax from Eroshevich, he heard from Smith only one or two more times. The last time was in November. Smith died three months later.
