38. please lets not circle this young talent like sharks....he does have a lovely tone and
sings in key.....he does not project and has little experience on stage while others
have ten years or more......the diversity of the group...dropping the mediocre Brandons
and Phils...for a young unjaded artist....he and Jordin are impressionable and should
be encouraged not slandered.....lets have some decency....how will other young
talents feel about coming out of their comfort zone...if the judges pick them in trials
and then a week or two into contest...act like they never were impressed...after all they
were selected from many, many.

courage Sanjaya....you were raised well and have alot of class.....sing joyfully...
also tonight he projected quite well.....

43. If things don't change - this year should be the finale of American Idol
It seems to have gone the way of Dancing with the Stars i e a popularity contest rather than a SINGING contest.
Just look at last year - the clear winner was Mcphee as was Mario Lopez in Dancing with the Stars
You can even go back further than that on both shows.

The fact of the matter is however - I'm afraid she will got the way of Jennifer Hudson who just lucked out in Dream girls.
Melinda simply is not a saleable product !!
nor is Lakeisha (spelling)
To be dsaleable one must have a bit of everything. The same as Katherine McPhee last year. She was better by far than the Grey Fox.
This year the winner should be Haley Scarnato - she is saleable !!!
I bet if you polled the judges (who, by the way - should count for at least 65% of the vote)
they would agree
Am I cult of one or does anyone out there (other than the many racists) agree ??

45. The sad thing is...people who are voting for Sanjaya, are hurting him the most. Those votes make him think he is actually a good singer, when he definately is not. His hopes are being built up for a terrible fall, when he gets the truth, which is, he is not a good singer or entertainer. He is too feminine acting, bad singer, and just plain boring. Sorry, but the truth is the truth and he needs to know, singing should not be in his future, he should concentrate his efforts elsewhere.
