I think it's ridiculous that an Idol fan is going on a hunger
strike. American Idol is what Americans want and if that is what they
want then so be it. I don't think that Sanjaya sings great but if you
want him voted off then tell your friends to vote him off, its not
easy performing for such a crowd as America, but he does it and if he
returns next week its because again America voted. Hunger strike!,
please you look like you should be on a hunger strike even if he does
get voted off. If anyone takes that as a rude remark , well think
about it isn't it rude that she is on a huger strike because she
feels he's not an Idol lets just sit back and let her pike the winner
why don't we? I think he's a nice kid I don't think he'll win but let
him go as far as he can .

137. Music Producer..ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND ? Sanjaya SUCKS BIG TME !!! It doesn't matter what his race or religion is. HE CAN't SING. It makes me sick that people are voting for him because of his hair. Good talent, or at least better talent has been booted off while the no talented hair boy stays.

He was hideous jumping around the stage and screaming with that cocky attitude. He is beginning to think he can sing. People are only voting for him because they think it's funny. I'm choosing not to watch the show anymore because he's still on it.

Maybe you should starve yourself; you might be able to hear better

This season of American Idol is really funny....I actually look forward to Sanjaya singing just so I can laugh...that doesn't mean that I will vote for him...but the show is suspenseful with him in it...he kind of reminds me of the chinese fellow who use to sing ' She Bang'. He couldnt sing either but they kept him on the show for a while because he made folks laugh...and i think thats whats going on here. Sanjaya looks like a good kid, he can't sing but dont take it to heart...let's all see what happens...so 'J' dont starve yourself cos maybe Sanjaya will be on the show longer than we expect...TO EVERYONE IN THE WORLD: WHEN YOU HAVE HAD A BAD DAY, JUST WATCH SANJAYA ON AMERICAN IDOL, HE'S GUARANTEED TO MAKE YOU LAUGH....WITHOUT FAIL!!!!!

What makes your opinion and your vote so much more valuable than my opinion and my vote that I should stop supporting the contestant that I think is best, should stop campaigning for him, and holding parties to vote for him because of you?

Perhaps reposting here will move you to answer.

I am sorry that you are hurting yourself, and I hope they don't let him know about this, because he truly cares--- and honestly so do I and people like me. You picked a good method -- by hurting yourself you stand a chance of influencing people like me -- and like Sanjaya -- who care about others.

Regardless, I don't think what you are doing is fair -- or right -- and please, let me know why your vote and your opinion matters more than mine -- and why therefore I should not be able to vote for my idol -- so that you can have yours.

147. More than anything, this young woman needs serious in-patient mental help. For someone to go on a hunger strike over a reality TV show is beyond idiotic, and enters the realm of mentally deranged.
