Starving for Sanjaya

A woman on MySpace feels so strongly that Sanjaya Malakar does not belong on "American Idol" -- that she is starving herself until he is voted off the show!

Identifying herself only as "J," she is now four days into a hunger strike, saying, "I have no problems with Sanjaya personally, he seems like a very personable and charming young man. However, he does NOT belong on 'American Idol.'" Preach it, sister!

After Tuesday night's episode, "J" wrote, "Sanjaya did come out of his shell a bit tonight like the judges said. However, his voice was horrific. He screamed through the entire song and jumped around like a manic person. Nice kid, nice kid, but not for 'American Idol.'"

"J" says she is definitely hungry now, but is drinking a lot of fluids. She also says she is "having slight hallucinations." It's almost like watching him without fasting.

34. Look, its time to clean up this competition. That performance was the worst attempt at singing I have ever heard!! I think he purposely did it so as to be kicked off tonight. Of course, there will be the morons, chicken hawks, little girls, old ladies and pedophiles that will vote for him. That makes up 75% of America. What about us "normal" viewers that still believes it is a singing competition? I am tired of all of the bullshit that people impose on this show and it's contestants when half of them do not even watch it!!!! Change the channel but if your serious, vote for the talent on this show. If your are even more serious, go to one of the many websites or "shrines" to this skinny, long haired flamer and vote NOT to keep him on another week. MELINDA, YOU ROCK GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

36. Dear David -- you think American Idol is about TALENT? Then why does FOX and AI ply us with pathetic auditions for WEEKS before the AI season starts? They have no problem with showcasing people who ended up making fools of themselves, and some of us are hooked now on the pathetic side of AI and just want to see it continue. I can assure you that Sanjay got enough votes last nite to stay in. I predict he will be the next AI, just to shove it up FOX and AI's butt.

39. Unbelievable how people act because of something that they disagree with, okay he's not the best singer on American Idol, apparently someone like the kid because he still is on the damn show. And for you J you are a dumb ass striving for some damn attention; well guess what you got it. You really need to see a doctor starving yourself because your opinion is not that of everyone! 41. Why is the memory of the American People so short.

Every year there has been a contestant that was a complete bucket of suck!!!! And every year we all give a collective WTF! Who keeps voting for him/her!!!!!!!

Here is the short list for those that can't remember:

Season 2: Carmen Rasmusen - She had no talent and bad skin. With a little proactive she might have been hot.

Season 3: John Stevens - The teenage love child of Ron Howard and Larry Byrd was the "crooner". He lasted longer then Jennifer Hudson. He made me want to rip my ears from my head.

Season 4: Mikalah Gordon - Likable Fran Dresher-esq.. Completely tone deaf.

Season 5: Kevin Covais - Chicken Little! Remember him. Yeah, I'm trying to forget too.

So...enjoy the suck while you can. Its good TV.

44. While she goes on a hunger strike, many of us have taken to the bottle. I'm not hitting rehab until Sanjaya is voted off! I can't take him anymore. Please help me!
