Celebrity Justice
Denise & Pam Sued for Assault & Battery

Pam and DeniseTwo photogs are claiming that an alleged violent incident involving Denise Richards and Pam Anderson has caused them to have nightmares, and now they want the dream babes to pay up.

In a lawsuit filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Scott Cosman and Rik Fedyck claim that Denise Richards went into violent rage when she spotted them taking photographs of the actresses on the Canadian set of their upcoming movie "Blonde and Blonder" in early November 2006. According to the lawsuit, Richards "launched into a verbal tirade and a physical assault upon Cosman and Fedyck which lasted over 20 minutes" at the River Rock Casino Resort in Vancouver. During the incident, which the men claim was all caught on tape by a hotel security camera, Richards allegedly called the men "f**king c**ksucker at least 12-15 times as well as scumbags, douche bags and paparazzi scum."

According to the lawsuit, Richards then "snatched their laptop computers from their hands, and threw them over the [hotel] balcony" and into the lobby. One of the computers allegedly struck "an elderly woman in a wheelchair."

Canadian police investigated the incident and decided it "wasn't in the best public interest to bring criminal charges" against Richards.

In the lawsuit, the photogs claim both Richards and Anderson falsely told the Royal Canadian Mounted Police that Fedyck and Cosman made violent threats against Richards and engaged in other "criminal activity." As a result, the men were "arrested and held by authorities for approximately three days."

The photogs are suing both women for assault, battery, defamation, false arrest and a slew of other charges. No specific amount was named in the lawsuit.

Calls to reps for both Richards and Anderson were not immediately returned.

31. Those guys get every stinking thing they deserve. Never felt like that before, but after seeing all those huge SUVs parked across the street from Brit's house this morning, I feel that way now.

Seems to me, if you are in your own home, and can't even open the curtains and enjoy the sunshine, because of prying eyes...that is stalking.

How disgusting!

I suspect TMZ is one of the bigger abusers.

37. I'am sure these charges will be dropped. When I seen their pictures together, the first thing
I thought of,was that their lives are connected. Not unusual for Hollywood. Pam was
married to Tommy Lee,who was married to Heather Locklear, who was Denise's best
friend forever, until Denise stole Richie Sambora. I'll bet these two women had plenty to
talk about on the set.

38. Puh-leeze! It is nightmarish to be constantly stalked by paparazzi, to NEVER know what you will be caught doing, to be spied on like you're a piece of property and not a human being. I think it is OUTRAGEOUS for anyone who stalks people for a living, stealing every private moment they can, SUES when they get a response they don't like!!

DISGUSTING!!

40. Denise gets everything she deserves frm this suit - if only for LYING to the police!
Throwing ANYTHING off a balcony is irresponsible & she only apologised in the press after MUCH disgust.
Even her publicist made derogatory statements!! Irresponsible! & TOTALLY unprofessional of them!
Also - this puts the things that she said about Chalie Sheen into perspective? I noticed that the court papers published at the Smoking Gun didn't include what SHE said to HIM!
This case may have dubious merits "morally" but if you don't want the paps to "stalk" fame-whores who in the past have phoned the pres themselves when they left the house THEN DON'T READ THE TABLIOD SITES (like this!).
Duh! It's all demand & supply.

42. Hmmmm... This is a first. Photogs who buzz around celebrities like files now suing same celebrities because they got cursed at. You know what I think? Maybe if those photogs didn't invade these actresses privacy, or jump in front of their cars to take pictures, or run celebrities off the road so they could snap photos, maybe these actresses wouldn't have cursed them out. This whole thing smells from the word go...

43. As much as I dislike Pamela and Denise, and think the papparazzi are out of control, I must say that people like us keep them in business. Sites like tmz, magazines like People, and tabloids pay a ton of money for photographs of celebs. No wonder the papps are out there trying to get pics and being rude. They're getting rich.

44. If they don't want their pictures taken stay at home or do charity work, you probably won't be bothered because that just isn't juicy enough.

45. I was recently read the book "Elizabeth", bio about Elizabeth Taylor. She was relentlessly hounded by the press her whole life and her most personal moments intruded on. During the Burton, Taylor, Reynolds, Fisher scandal, the fotogs daily scaled walls and hide at her villa to get a shot. Her security had beat down the bushes to get these bottomfeeders
off the property! I'm sure it was stressfull for her, but she never endangered anyone, ever.
Celebrity obsession is nothing new. It must be annoying to be watched and followed , but there is no excuse for golddiging Denise to harm someone innocent because of her hissy little fit. She is no Elizabeth Taylor and should enjoy her 15 minutes.
