Anna's Cause of Death Revealed

After performing an autopsy, it became clear that Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental overdose of medication.

Dr. Joshua Perper, the Medical Examiner for Broward County, just announced the 39-year-old former Playboy Playmate was taking a number of drugs, including methadone and anti-anxiety drugs, among others.

Anna did not take methadone the day she died, said Perper, but there was evidence she had taken it several days earlier.

Dr. Perper concluded that it was combined drug intoxication, including anxiety and depression medication, Valium, Ativan and antihistamines, that contributed to Smiths' death. She had also taken chloral hydrate, a strong sedative, which was a major component in her death.

ACCIDENTAL OVERDOSE!!!!!yeah right maybe so, but highly doubt on her part.ok she lost her son anyone who loses someone close like a child would feel suicidal,so she loses her son and says things like she wish she would die.ofcourse u would have to get rid of person everything is going to 1st on will that leaves u in charge next.once that person u loved ever so much your going to feel lost and say things because that was your best friend ok perfect.now take person who is so gullable and tell her she needs these meds keep pumping them in wow looks like she really did want to be with son it was sucide or accidental over dose wow looks good now on the part of the executor of 7 wills.

36. I find it very sad that all who were considered her friends, who say they loved her NEVER took the time to do an intervention or stop being an enabler to Anna Nicole's drug use. Altough Howard will not be charged he will have to live with the cause of her death for the rest of his life. He knew of her drug use and did nothing to stop it. Her Doctor/friend is really no friend either. These Doctors that prescribe all these drugs to their patients and then do not have to answer to the law because they can explain it all away should be held accountable.

38. The Doctors should be investigated for giving her all those drugs. I think HKS was in cahoots with her Doctor and they Od her on purpose. I didnt care for Anna but what these people did to her is so sad.

42. Coward K. (K is for killer) Stern was definitely an enabler and made sure ANS injected such medications that would "leave" the body fairly rapidly. He is a twisted individual and this is just pitiful. I still think it was cold calculated murder. It is not a coincidence that a relative young woman and her son both died from drug overdoses where the common denominator is this idiot. I hope that Dannielynn is removed from his care IMMEDIATELY and released to whomever her biological father is. Anna & Daniels death are tragic by all accounts.

Combined drug toxicity with added factors of a bacterial and viral infection. It is a sad way to die, especially with such a young child left without a mother. All of these drugs at therapeutic levels except for a higher concentration of sleep medication that would not have necessarily been fatal. All of these drugs prescribed by treating physicians.

My only question to those of you who trashed Howard K Stern: Where does he go to get his reputation restored??? Where do all of you go to atone for your vicious and now obviously false accusations???

Nobody wins in all of this. I see the uglier of side of humanity here. All of the anger over somebody that you don't know and over facts that you assumed to be true that are now proven false. I watched TMZ whip readers into a frenzy with each salacious tidbit that seemed to implicate Howard K Stern. How sad...
