It has recently come to light that the lawyers representing Howard K. Stern have hired a public relations firm in an effort to turn his reputation around. A source who is an employee at the office of one of Stern's several lawyers says that Stern's team of advocates are "desperate" and "quite alarmed" that, despite their best efforts to sway public opinion in Mr. Stern's favor, polls indicate that the vast majority of respondents remain vehemently convinced that Stern played a role in the deaths of model Anna Nicole Smith, 39, and her 20-year old son Daniel Wayne Smith.

"The lawyers are scrambling," says the source, who prefers to remain anonymous. "I think they figured people would change their minds after the [autopsy] report was released."

On Monday of this week, Dr.Joshua Perper, Medical Examiner for Broward County in Florida, released his autopsy findings. Dr. Perper determined that Ms. Smith died as a result of a drug overdose and that her death was an accident.

Based on one recent poll, 9 out of 10 respondents did not agree that her death was an accident.

"The blogs are saying differently," our source said. "A lot of people are wondering how the medical examiner could base his findings on testimony that came from people who would be the first ones to lie if they had anything to hide."

According to our source, the internet is filled with blogs, or message boards, where the public can post their opinions about the Anna Nicole Smith case. One such blog can be found at TMZ.com, an entertainment site that posts news related story about celebrities.

"Mr. Stern's folks have been monitoring the blogs for months now," our source said. "They've been trying really hard to change people minds [about Mr. Stern]. The problem has mushroomed and it’s beyond their capabilities to handle.

"I suppose because they're figuring he may be facing charges here [in the United States], they hired our agency. Part of our job will be to go on the blogs and try to get people to change their minds about their client. People's opinions can affect the jury pool and change the outcome of a trial."

Coincidentally, Mr. Stern's concerns about a tainted jury resulted in an unexpected delay in yesterday's inquest proceedings in the Bahamas. The delay came about because of Mr. Stern's wish to do away with the jury or at least have the opportunity to question the 7-person panel about their impartiality. Such a request is unprecedented. The inquest procedure is rooted in a Common Law tradition dating back almost 300 years.

1024. 972. ET has obtained the full witness list for the inquest, and Anna Nicole (as Vickie Lynn Marshall) is listed -- a statement will be presented in the late model's absence.

A statement, WOW earth shattering. Probably to the account of something like this:

"I woke up, Daniel was sitting in the chair, I tried to wake him, I yelled for Howard, the nurse was called" Big fricken deal. The nurses will testify that CPR was performed, the Shelley's will testify that he was depressed, Larry will testify that medication was once taken from Anna by either Daniel or his friends.

things happen in our lives that sometimes can lead us in the wrong direction....NO MATTER HOW GOOD A KID HAS BEEN IN TH PAST, they are so easily swayed by peers and people around them, I have two teenage kids. Obviously, Anna had a problem with medication. Daniel grew up seeing this, in his eyes maybe he thought there was nothing wrong with it. Just like parents who drink and their kids see them getting drunk, it tells the child its okay, mom and dad do it.

1025. The Stern attorney media threat is unbelievable.
I certainly hope the media points out how Stern is right in the midst of making sure the media is fair in it's reporting.
The world has seen that in the coverage that ET has done on "Stern the wonderboy".
The only thing the media has done and I would point this out....is show the world the video's that Stern himself made while taping the drugged pregnant woman named Anna.
Nobody but Stern made that to see..........WAS it worth MONEY Mr. Stern?
Nobody but "Stern & ET" showed the world night after night how the person connected to 2 drug deaths is the "victim" as we all watched with no tears.
If there was NO coverage BUT ET the world would have been smart enough to SEE through Stern. That coverage was ONE SIDED towards Stern.
I certainly hope the media continues to give the coverage & doesn't BOW DOWN to the threats.
Stern & Company want to CONTROL the media..CONTROL the Bahamas courtroom.
And keep in mind it was STern & his that had many versions of the events.
And we the world learned those versions from THEIR INTERVIEWS they did with the various media outlets. (Stern, MOE, TAZ, Dr. E.)

It was said the 105 fever was in the Bahamas & lowered enough to fly to Florida.
It was said the 105 fever was when first arrived at Hard Rock.
It was said the 105 fever was the day of the death.

The media didn't make that up.........

MOE said he found Anna on the BATHROOM FLOOR.....
MOE said he found Anna on the bed & put her on the floor.

The media didn't make that up.

And for the Florida authorities to stand there & tell the world they did a through investigation is an insult to the human race. Did they ask the key people WHICH VERSION IS TRUE? To take the word of the people who were involved in her life who CLEARLY are changing their "STORY" in different interviews grants the media & the world the right to be suspious.
It was admitted her hair WAS NOT TESTED.
It was admitted the substance in the bathroom sink wasn't tested.
How long was it there that is was "CAKED" on? And STern admitted he helped her to the bathroom at 10am.
It was admitted the substance including blood on the sheet was NOT TESTED.

SOUNDS VERY THROUGH!!

And the people under suspicion say Anna said no 911.............
And we know that because THEY said so.

I'm sure they asked Stern if he did it & he assured them no.

What happened to Moe's info on how Stern acted suspious & unusual the day of Anna's death?

Media should ask Stern where he went from 2-4am.

In the world beyond, however, O'Quinn enjoys no such immunity. As the unchallenged king of breast implant litigation, his name may be synonymous with success, but not success alone. One reminder of that came last month when he pleaded guilty to an ethics breach in South Carolina. Seven other misdemeanor charges of illegally soliciting cases were dropped. In exchange, the state was spared the expense of a trial and collected a quarter-million dollars in penalty to boot.

South Carolina Attorney General Charles Condon threw down the gauntlet after announcing the deal.

"Although the conduct occurred here, defendant O'Quinn has a history with the State Bar of Texas, and it's really Texas' problem," Condon said. "And I just challenge them to follow through on enforcing their own rules."

There also was the embarrassment of pleading no contest in a local county court to a charge of driving while intoxicated. And just for insult, a poll of the Texas Young Lawyers Association placed O'Quinn at the top of the list of most disliked attorneys in the state.

On the record, other friends and associates around Houston are equally circumspect in their comments. But privately they admit they are very concerned about the possibility of a renewed drinking problem. Reports of binges, exaggerated or not, have spread among them and the rest of the Houston legal community.

Another former partner suggested that O'Quinn has skirted the edges of depression for years, alternately medicating himself with adrenaline and booze.

Perhaps no one knows him well enough to offer a full explanation.

My thoughts exactly from the beginning..... I think the clown video was made for an insurance policy that Anna would keep HK$ in control of everything... I think he used it to blackmail her into putting his name on the birth certificate. I think he used it as a threat to keep her quiet after Daniel died.... I'm sure he convinced her that she would be charged with Daniel's death too and that she'd lose the baby. He surely convinced her that since she was the drug addict the blame for the drugs would fall on her and he had videos to prove it. The commitment ceremony he orchetrated and she went along with by blackmail as one of HK$' PR stunts. If he was intent on love, why not do if for real instead of make believe? Oh that's right, he can't because the will would elimate him as a future spouse. I don't think Anna wanted anything to do with that stage play of a ceremony, especially while her thoughts were on her son lying in the morgue... I think she was blackmailed into it and made to feel that had it not been for her drugs he wouldn't be dead. Imagine doing that to someone you love? Ya you really loved her HK$.... you loved her to DEATH!

1034. just a note about the " changed "story of the private eye if the hired help were ordered to hang up on daniel, it strikes me as odd that the "fired" maids didn't put that in their statements they made after daniels death....that would be important...i do not trust the private eye, he has changed his story 4 times and admitted working with virgies FBI guy...

1035. STERN HATERS:

Most of you contend that Anna was only Howard's meal ticket and he was out only for the money, right?

1) In the case of the Marshall Estate, Anna was the only party alive when Marshall's son died. Now Anna is dead. Don't you think this makes it harder to recover for Marshall's son's heirs and Anna's heirs since Anna and Pierce are both dead? The heirs have no first hand personal knowledge of what went on between J. Howard Marshall, Pierce and Anna. Stern's fees were based on contingency -- he only recovered if Anna recovered. Why would he kill the only living key witness in the Marshall Estate case?

2) At the time of Daniel's death, Anna had already given birth to Dannielynn, which makes her also a legal, biological heir to any proceeds of Anna's estate. Any money from the Marshall estate to Anna's estate would go her living heir, Dannielynn, not Stern.

3) Ok, now even if HKS is a killer and killed Dannielynn, he is still not an heir. All the proceeds from the Marshall estate or any of Anna's other assetts would go to her next of kin, Vergie and her father.

4) If HKS had ideas of killing Anna, don't you think he would have waited till they were legally married and as a spouse he would also become an heir of her estate.

Bottom line, if Howard the coward (as many of you refer to him) is as intelligent, kniving and has masterminded the demise of Daniel and Anna, wouldn't he have made sure it would be him that ultimately recovered?

NOW IDIOTS, get your heads out of your asses. This imaginary "plot" of HKS simply does not exist.
