33. he is horrible as far as singing goes...and he should have never made it past hollywood week let alone be still on AI at this point. He is embarassing to AI and all the talent that they have had and currently have...my only prayer is that he will be voted off this week. His performance made my skin crawl and made me want to turn the channel. The hair was attempting to distract from his performance.
as far as the teeny bopper fan base...my 2 daughters are 12 and 15 and they think he is HORRIBLE also. there is the Howard Stern crap that has everyone of HS fans voting for the worst contestant in order to bring down the powerhouse that is AI. I think that is why he is still breathing and slaughtering anything he sings.

Why should someone disclose what they do behind close doors to the public? If he is gay, it is truly his business. Everyone feels the right to know about someone's sexual orientation. Perez Hilton will forever be scum for feeling that someone should be outed and being one of the persons to out folk.

Don't watch AI, haven't since season 3, but this kid may look gay, but until he says so himself or feels comfortable admitting it, he isn't until he comes forth, no matter who saw him where. It's what he does, when no one's around, and it's his privacy, respect. People are starting to blur the lines of privacy thanks to the paparazzi etc, and feel they have the right to know, we don't have the right to know until told so by said persons...

41. I just do not understand why he sang well during his audition but not so good on the show? I think he desperately needs to hire a vocal coach. He should have been voted off weeks ago. I think he is earning votes from tone deaf teenagers. I must admitt although he can't sing he is definately entertaining. I just hope that he does not win.

43. He is only 17 !!!! Why can't all the meanmouths look back to when they were 17. He's just a kid & has more guts than most of us. He has years to grow & find his niche. He'll be completely different in another 10 years,let him be a kid & do his thing for now. Geeesh

44. Ok, so he is not the best singer in the show but he does sing better that the people watching him at home. He wouldn't be there if he wasn't any good. I got to hand it to him though, for being 17 the kid has balls. How else would he come out in national TV, knowing that 30 million + people are watching him and sporting the rooster hair he had yesterday. Balls, man, balls!! By the way, his sister is HOT!!!!

Regarding him being gay, who cares!!! Really? What difference does that make? Does it matter? Is he sleeping with you? That should be the only reason why it would matter, if he is my partner, otherwise he could be gay, straight, bi-sexual, who cares. He is not lying to u s, he doesn't have to tell anybody his sexual orientation. It is funny that 2007 and in the USA people are still worried about petty things like that.

45. Sanjaya may not be a great singer, but he sure has added some interest to a fairly dull season of AI. Even a good singer like Melinda is beginning to bore me.

What I find worse than Sanjaya's singing are the constant gay remarks being made on this site about anyone who doesn't fit the crude macho-man image that so many of you seem to idolize.
