Cops Arrest Man "Allegedly Stalking" Michelle Branch

Singer Michelle Branch had an audience member arrested during a concert in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on Monday, after recognizing a man who has "allegedly been stalking" her.

As Branch took the stage to perform an encore at the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts, the singer reportedly froze up, then begged security to apprehend 32-year-old Dominick Giordano. He allegedly tried to bolt, but was quickly arrested by Sheboygan Police and cited for disorderly conduct.

Authorities say Giordano has been following the "Everywhere" singer to concerts around the country since 2003 and regularly sends her letters and videos.

In the police report obtained by TMZ, cops say Giordano has previously "managed to lie his way backstage" at Branch's concerts, "sneak into after-concert parties" and also "allegedly lunged at Ms. Branch during an autograph signing event." According to the report, Branch was "scared" by the "particularly disturburbing" incident, and expressed concern for the safety of her 19-month-old daughter, who was also at the concert.

Giordano was released after posting a $150 bond.

17. Is it just me or does the stalker look like he could be Michelle's brother? Similar expression, eyes, eye brows, and lips. They look alike; Just an observation.

I do agree with the above post. No one deserves to be stalked and there should be tougher laws. You don't have to be a celeb, pretty, rich or young to have a stalker and there are few laws to protect victims who are being stalked. It's a crime either way you look at it.

18. stalkers are nothing to be taken lightly, I don't blame her for being frightened... I wonder what was on the videos he sent her?
psychotic people can be dangerous and if she rejects him, that only makes them worse....
and one doesn't have to be famous, hawt or gorgeous to be stalked--some not so attractive people get stalked, famous or not famous...
david letterman had terrible problems with a woman stalking him..
I know a fat, unattractive woman who was stalked...

For those of you who don't know who she is do some research (i.e. google), besides starting a family recently, and taking a short break as anyone in that situation would, she's also part of a country act that's doing well "The Wreckers", ...of course those of you who are too busy listening to the radio and watching MTV aren't able to remember her as you probably can't remember what you were listening to 6 months ago either, so no big deal Britney Spears hasn't released anything in 2 years either and who do we hear more than enough about? Anyways, It's too bad when anyone has to deal with a stalker and $150 bond is definitely not enough for what this story says he has done all together.

I live in Sheboygan - and I know the director from the Weill Center well; this guy is creepy.
