Did Sanjaya's Singing Finally Kill Someone?

31. I've grown to love Sanjaya.... his hair, his smile, his eyebrows, his voice. He's very entertaining. And I love how upset some of you are about him!

I realized, while watching this week's show, that I was mainly looking forward to seeing what he'd do next. Lakisha's voice is good, but she is major league boring.

This is an Entertainer competition not a singing competition. A pure singing competition would be awful. We vote for the one that entertains us the most.

I predict Jordan Sparks will win overall. I was in Arizona last week and the entire state media is backing her.... from Flagstaff to Phoenix.

32. Howard Sterns the radio personality is behind this debachle. It must be in that name, Howard Sterns. They think that they must be in control whether good or bad. He has asked his listeners to vote for Sanjaya. This is a travesty that someone would destroy a show like this. A lot of people are able to showcase their talent through American Idol. It is their big break which probably never would have happened without Idol. Look what happened for Jennifer Hudson and all the others who have gone on to bigger and better things. They would not have been able to make those contacts without Ai.

I wish Jesus would find both of those Howard Sterns they need some REAL help and guidance to live among people. Life is not about them and they should not try to control the lives of other people especially when it is not in the best interest for the other people that they are controlling. Some one needs to get HS off the airways. Thank God that you reap what you sew. Those two HSs have some mighty harvests to reap.

35. American Idol is extremely boring this year. Not sure what the problem is, but none of the top 12 have blown me away. Maybe AI has hit it's peak and is on it's way down.

39. Whatever Sanjaya has, it's working! He may just win. He's not any worse than the rest. I don't think that American Idol, producers are too worried. They have the viewers and that's what counts. If Sanjaya wins, I think he will be as famous as William Huang*, not sure of the spellingof name.

42. I think J is taking this way too far! This is your health that we are talking about. You should not risk your health over a silly TV show! Sanjaya may not can sing but he is cute and entertaining and as a result the teenage girls like him. We adults probably do not sit there on the telephone and spend as much time voting as the teenage girls do. Maybe if adults were as passionate about the contestants that can actually sing and spent more time voting Sanjaya would be gone.
