Sanjaya to Media: Bring it B**ches!

TMZ spoke with a source close to Sanjaya's family. The source had a message for the media: Bring it!

Our source says that the family was at first worried that all the bad press was going to hurt Sanjy's chances on the show, but now say, "You can write all you want, Sanjaya is here to stay!" World press, rejoice!

And to the "jerks" at votefortheworst.com, our source added, "Thanks guys, but he doesn't need your votes." You sure about that?

16. The way Sanjaya is being kept on the show is wrong! Let him stay or go by the quality of his performances, not by making fun. American Idol is losing watchers due to the fact that it is no longer a singing contest.

18. I think he has potential and could have a career if he would work with a vocal coach. He is definately entertaining to watch. However, he should have been voted off weeks ago. My guess is that the teenage girls in America are voting about 50 times each for him. I think that "J" is taking this thing too far with a hunger strike. I do not think that this silly TV show is worth risking your health. I also think that some people might be voting for Sanjaya because of J's hunger strike. I think in spite of her intent that "j" is only encouraging people to vote for Sanjaya. Now if Sanjaya is smart he will take advantage of his newfound fame. He needs to either take singing seriously and hire a vocal coach and a manager or maybe try out acting.

19. Sanjay is really believing the hype and shouldn't. The family should thank the people at at votefortheworst.com. If he wins, that website should definitely get a percentage of any royaties coming his way. This is one for the list of music travesties; right beneath Milli Vanilli.

24. Sounds like suck-sess is going to their heads! Way to turn the fickle public against you! All the faux-hawks in the world won't overcome unappealing arrogance in a never-was.

25. We should not be even discussing such an obvious thing as talent. Sanjaya does not have a talent and it's hurting such a great family show as AI. His family needs to stop it and explain to their offsping that whatever he is trying to prove isn't working and he is wasting judges' time as well as the time of AI fans. The most gracious thing for him to do is to drop from the show and apologize to AI fans for wasting their time while watching this constipated "singing"

29. I think point everyone is missing is that this is a SINGING competition. It's not a popularity contest. The boy is a joke not only to himself but to the show. For them to have placed him in the top 24 to begin with it their fault. Us keeping him there is our fault.

He is definitely milking it for all it's worth but his diva attitude is going to get the best of him. He needs to show more respect not only to the judges but to the American people who, week after week are keeping him there.

He has already climbed up on a high horse that he thinks he better than the rest of the competitors. I have to mute the TV when he sings and turn away when his face is shown.

I feel sorry for the stupidity of his actions. He's 17 and should know better. Shame on his parents and family.
