78. That's it. I quit American Idol. If the American people cannot see talent when they see it I will no longer support the show. To have voted off who can sing and leave someone on who can't is just stupid. This is a talent show not some popularity show. Bring back the talent show. All of you that voted for that kid are just plain stupid.

82. Calm down, people! Sanjaya is not going to be the AI winner, regardless to oodle & oodle of votes he is getting. Businesswise, they are not stupid enough NOT to intervene with the result, should he is in the top 2...LOL.

Just let the kid enjoy the ride. NO, he is not getting cockey. He is just doing what Simon's expecting of him and of other contestants, to talk back & not just standing there & taking the insults, uh, critiques like brainless robots.

Yes, we should all just hand the title over to WEEZEE JEFFERSON, uh, I meant, Melinda Doolittle & get it over with. But the show has got about a month and a half to go, so, enjoying the ride with him or get off his case already!

No, I'm not related to Sanjaya, but I find it rather sad that some of us are picking on this young man, who has not harm anyone personally, when I don't see that many GOOD singers on the show but a few.

My suggestions are still the same, which I've done it myself when some of the singers that I don't care for are ON. I tuned out, by going to the kitchen, or change the channel, or press the MUTE button. Yes, there is a Mute button on your remote control!!!

Lastly, I sure hope Phil keeps his hat on. Not to offend any bald headed people here. My boyfriend is also bald headed, but he wears a baseball cap when out in public. Looking at Phil's shiny head, I can't help but think about "Uncle Fester". Yikes....

83. I've been watching American Idol since the first week it started. I wondered why Sanjaya was chosen to begin with. There isn't anything extra ordinary about his singing voice. He's proving this week after week. All that's happening on American Idol is the loss of very good singers. If this young man is chosen as the next American Idol this will be an insult to all who have appeared on this show. (There have been some excellent singers that have appeared on this show.) If Sanjaya is elected as the next American Idol this should be the last season for the show.

86. If this started off as a joke, it is no longer funny. Nothing personal against Sanjaya but he does not measure up compared to the others. Perhaps, producers of the American Idol, at the end of this season, ought to rethink about this voting process, maybe allow viewers to vote when 6 contestants are left.
