Britney and K-Fed Settle Up

TMZ has learned Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have reached a settlement in their divorce.

Sources say that under the terms, K-Fed will walk away with around $1 million (In case you're wondering, Spears' lawyer, Laura Wasser, drafted and airtight pre-nup). As for their two kids, we're told Britney and Kevin will have joint custody, sharing physical custody 50/50. The divorce will be final, with a judge's signature, very soon.

Britney and K-Fed settled their score after meeting face to face with their lawyers for hours Thursday afternoon.

In the past, when Wasser settled a high-profile divorce, the parties filed a "skeletal judgment," which meant the specific terms were omitted from the public documents.

He can always take that MIL and go to a Trailer Trash State and buy a mansion
and still have a lot of money to live off of.
personally I am going to miss all of the parodies about them
Mad TV use to crack me up the way they protrayed them
K-Fed is a useless wannabe who will never amount to anything
and Brit Brit will never have the glory she had when she gave up
her career to be with K-Fed.
remember when they first started dating and she wanted to be with him she faked a leg injury to cancel her tour?
then like the next day there was pics of her without her leg brace running around town bare footed and fancy free while concert after concert had to be cancelled due to her leg injury.
she turned her back on her fans when she met him and her fans are going to remember that.
I have never been a Brit Brit fan but I have enjoyed their traler trash antics.

49. All you people who keeps quote Forbes list saying spears has a 100 million dollar need to pay attention to what Forbes stated

the Forbes list clearly states that those were GROSS lifetime earnings

with everything she did she brought in around 100 million dollars

take 50 % of that away in taxes
manager gets 10-20 %
Attorneys ,accounts,stylist,publicist,spears takes care of her entire family,all the money k fed blew in the last 2 years= Britney would be lucky to have 20 million in liquid assets

54. guarantee that boy didnot walk away with a million dollars he held those kids over her head and walked away with alot more and 50/50 custody and when all this started he was only getting visitation come on that boy got paid i can tell that and he got joint custody you know that he got paid trust me look at the custody agreement and from her behavior she was looking like the unfit parent he was looking like a saint i say he got more than a million bucks

I don't buy that any pre-nup is iron-clad, especially when kids come into the relationship. Kevin may get $1 million but he will also get 1/2 of the proceeds from the Malibu home. Even if cutody is 50/50 Britney may have to pay Kevin child support as children have to continue to live in the style they are accustomed to living. Bottom line is Kevin will have a very nice home; cars; money and security guards for at least the next 18 years. Let's face it, women do this all the time ~ what's fair for the goose is fair for the gander!! Shades of Madonna and Carlos Leon!

57. Children have to continue to live in the style they are accustomed to? I would check that with an attorney, Lolo. That only applies to the spouses. Most judges will try to keep children at this age with the mother unless she can be proven to be unfit. In this case, I think unfit could apply to both Britney and Kevin actually. He puts on a good front for the cameras now that he knows they are watching, whereas she couldn't care less about the cameras, but he's no better than she is. Just ask Shar!!
