Britney and K-Fed Settle Up

TMZ has learned Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have reached a settlement in their divorce.

Sources say that under the terms, K-Fed will walk away with around $1 million (In case you're wondering, Spears' lawyer, Laura Wasser, drafted and airtight pre-nup). As for their two kids, we're told Britney and Kevin will have joint custody, sharing physical custody 50/50. The divorce will be final, with a judge's signature, very soon.

Britney and K-Fed settled their score after meeting face to face with their lawyers for hours Thursday afternoon.

In the past, when Wasser settled a high-profile divorce, the parties filed a "skeletal judgment," which meant the specific terms were omitted from the public documents.

I don't buy that any pre-nup is iron-clad, especially when kids come into the relationship. Kevin may get $1 million but he will also get 1/2 of the proceeds from the Malibu home. Even if cutody is 50/50 Britney may have to pay Kevin child support as children have to continue to live in the style they are accustomed to living. Bottom line is Kevin will have a very nice home; cars; money and security guards for at least the next 18 years. Let's face it, women do this all the time ~ what's fair for the goose is fair for the gander!! Shades of Madonna and Carlos Leon!

62. Children have to continue to live in the style they are accustomed to? I would check that with an attorney, Lolo. That only applies to the spouses. Most judges will try to keep children at this age with the mother unless she can be proven to be unfit. In this case, I think unfit could apply to both Britney and Kevin actually. He puts on a good front for the cameras now that he knows they are watching, whereas she couldn't care less about the cameras, but he's no better than she is. Just ask Shar!!

67. Human nature has nothing to do with it. Better you look at the behavior these celebrities display. Now that's somewhere to start.

When you choose to become a celebrity, you are held to a higher standard, fair or not. They know this going in, so when the tabloids are lurking outside their homes and clubs waiting for a chance for a pic or they are the subject of web sites such as TMZ, there should be no complaining. Comes with the territory and the high salaries. Bet if you gave them a choice of the high salaries with paparazzi or lower pay and be left alone, they will choose the former every time.

Why else would they choose that profession, other than to see their pictures in the papers or to be the topic of the day, unless they are being pictured flashing their pantiless possessions or vomiting in the back of limos? Hillary Duff, Christina A., G. Stephani, C. Diaz just to name a few seem to party with the best of them. Why then don't we hear of them acting out? Could it be they act like ladies even when there is alcohol around? We realize they are young millionaires, but can't they party without acting like ho's that stand on corners?

He walks off with1 million CASH BUTTTTT ,add fromthe sale of the house, the cars, jewelry, free pr like for earning a Superbowl commercial, having two of Brit's kids makes him what he is and that is their legal father and thus he has an investment there, a possible book, deal in years to come , and 505 custody, well, thechildren must live ina manner of their status of being th echildren of a woman worth 50-100 million so Brit will have to buy him a house. In other words, I bet the case will be undisclosed...Brit is much bettter off with having had tha tprenup which the nuty slutly did not want.

72. I think k-fed should have to pay her back all the child support she paid on his other kids, when they were together,you know he didn't have no money to pay it she picked up the tab on everything. Hopefully she doesn't have to pay him money every month to equal the income I think maybe not , seeing that that both have sole custody sharing half visitations anyone else know?

73. Kevin had a full time job being married to BS; imagine having to put up with a stupid, no brain, no talent, violent, bad mannered peroxide blondie with breast implants. He certainly deserves more than one million and I do believe he did get more, but they all agreed to keep that secret. Let's not be fooled. Now how long do you think BS will remain sober, that is if she is sober which I doubt. Those poor two boys will end up with their dad and BS will probably make more babies with a loser somewhere in Holy-Wood.
