The Price is Right for George H.

George HamiltonTMZ has learned that George Hamilton is the front-runner to replace Bob Barker on the "Price is Right."

We're told that CBS honcho Les Moonves and the show's producers think George is "wonderfully charming" and "could really make the show work."

We'll let you know if and when the perma-tanned TV titan is told to "come on down!"

33. #22 John O'Hurley is his name. I think he is the perfect replacement, although I think the show has seen it's better days.

34. I think George would be great, would bring some witty humor to the show. Should have gotten rid of that dirty old man Bob B. a loooong time ago, never could stand him. Actually I never watch the show because he turns me off. But then again, I think it would be beneath George, he could do so much better than to host such a crummy show. He is multi-talented and could do about anything well. Love ya George.

39. George is absolutly perfect ! George is soooo funny and very classy.Missed seeing him on television and this is great he is coming back! George you will do great! Alot of jealous people writing in ,George Hamilton will rock on the show and I for one can't wait to watch the show when he is on!!! all the best!!!!

41. bob barker is an idiot. i went to a taping of TPIR and he was so rude to the audience. he yelled at everyone there, audience and staff. if he was having a bad day, thats his problem. he's an old man. thats it.

45. Oh gosh NO. I think Howard K Stern would be a better host than old George. He his just too cheesy and much too old. He his soo old he looks as if he would smell like a pair of dirty old socks.
Might as well cancel the show and save money now. This is not going to work with him.
The only person that cares for him and likes him is................you guessed it....Geeorge himself.
