Stern Shut Down In Huge Way Over DNA

Howard K. SternHoward K. Stern lost a big one in the Bahamas today.

Stern's appeal on DNA testing was just shut down, and Howard K. was penalized by the three-judge panel to the tune of $10,000. TMZ has learned Stern was ordered to pay $5,000 in attorney's fees to the Registrar General and $5,000 to Birkhead's lawyer -- not Debra Opri, the Bahamian one.

This could clear the way for the unsealing of the DNA test results -- that should happen in court this week.

Typically, these penalties (called "sanctions") are imposed when an appeal is frivolous.

92. Unfortunately the $5000.00 Larry won today doesn't put a dent in the outrageous bill he go from Debra Opri! She is a opportunistic Bitch, Media Hungry Whore who is pissed because she got fired. She lied and said that she was doing it for free! I hope Howard goes down quickly so Larry can get the money to pay that bitch! GO LARRY!!!!

Stern has to pay Birkhead's atornies because they had to prepare defences against a frivolous appeal.

If Howard had a shred of decency, the DNA would have been done without any legal action necessary.

Larry's original cause of action claimed that Howard K. Stern committed fraud by caliming to be the father of a baby he knew wasn't his. I am hoping that the Bahamian courts find that Howard did indeed commit fraud, and that his whole reason for fleeing to the Bahamas was for the purpose of keeping a baby away from her father. I hope Stern gets monetary sanctions and jail time.

96. Please get your facts straight Howard lovers. He appealled on grounds that he wanted his poor little way like a 5 yr. old. His expert to do the test when the lower court already decided Baird would do the test. Sounds like Howard got smacked.

103. 30. Come on TMZ, you didn't give the whole story. Stern did not appeal the actual DNA testing, he actually appealed the handling of it. That's so different. Stern wanted the DNA taken. They forget to mention that part. I think it's funny because the media was all wrong this lol.
