On the tape, Bonsall's girlfriend claims that the former child star "poured whiskey on my face when I was asleep" and threw her on the ground "probably five or six times" when she tried to leave his house. She also claimed that they both had been drinking before she made the call. Police tell TMZ that before the incident, the two had an all-night party with several friends.

According to police, Bonsall claimed that he pushed the woman down in self-defense, after she cut his arm and face with a steak knife. In the arrest report, police say "both people ... suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention."

The unnamed girlfriend was released without being charged. Bonsall was charged with second-degree assault and false imprisonment.

17. The girlfriend obviously just wants to punish him by making headlines. SHE should be arrested for domestic violence; she STABBED him!

18. He may just be telling the truth. Look at the cuts on his face. If someone was cutting me with a knife, I would freak out too.

20. Brian Bonsall along with Michael J. Fox in Family Ties formed the funniest comedy duo I have ever seen in the characters of Andy and Alex Keaton. They worked extremely well together. They were the heart of the show. I am still laughing and that show ended in 1989. It was amazing how a 5-year-old could be the heart of a very intelligent and entertaining comedy series.

They were both drunk and acting stupid

23. I have no sympathy for any asshole chick that dates a guy with metal fangs in his mouth.

24. Ok, she sounds entirely too calm to be worried about her well being. She also gets mouthy with the 911 dispatcher. I think this was a mutual situation. They had an argument. Obviously he wasn't keeping her from making the phone call. What a waste of time!

26. WHEN will guys learn to stop hitting women? And when will women start to behave like ladies, not like drunken sailors in a bar? Sometimes I wonder what the heck our country is coming to with these kinds of people wandering around.

27. You know what this is? Another washed up star that will be on a horrible reality show in the future!

28. I think they should both have been charged. They-on her admision-both had been drinking. HE had cuts to his face and arms and obviously this was not a 1 sided thing. She was just way to calm, cool and colective to have just been beat up! If she was in a dangerous situation and was being hit she would have sounded a lil more upset or at least not so eh whatever! I think they both should be arrested and both should go to court and both take responsibility for acting inappropriately!

29. I agree with Kerry. To many men putting their hands on women, and not enough ladies left in this world anymore. women these days have no respect for themselves.
