168. I had the feeling that Miles O'Brien would not be able to keep his job at CNN when Bill Hemmer left and Soledad O'Brien took over. What a disaster! Soledad should have stayed home when she took the leave of absence to give birth to the twins. CNN would have done great with Miles O'Brien and Bill Hemmer and Maria Hinojosa. Jon Roberts is very good and will put CNN back where it was after Maria Hinojosa joins him. We need to see a Hispanic once in awhile.

170. I can only hope that Soledad will find her place. She was used and abused at CNN.
She is a first rate news anchor. She was fair and friendly. She deserves better than CNN gave her. I will not watch CNN anymore. Soledad, whever you go I will follow.
I hope you get to sleep late (probably not, with 4 children), and read your favorite books.

171. Soledad is fantastic! She gives the newsmakers a run for their money by asking questions not even Larry King has the guts to ask. However, the trend at CNN is to move away from real reporting and to compete with the idiots at FOX. Now they have the totally irrelevant Beck who HAS to be the most annoyng ignorant person on CNN and have added that weird plastic Kiran who has NO personality, NO news talent and backed by that guy who makes us switch to MSNBC. I don't even watch your evening shows anymore after the Nancy Grace idiocy.
Even Robin, who used to be a REAL person has become an airhead needing to show leg and reading the same boring stories about some totally worthless piece of news over and over again with a giggle and a stupid vacant "aw shucks folks" attitude.
CNN you have become irrelevant! Your news team is no longer the most trusted...on to MSNBC.

173. The reason soleday was booted is simple! She doesn't wear the short skirts like Kiran does. Look at fox and friends. Gretchen Carlson has never worn skirts that short and now she is. Sorry ladies but this brings in a male audience. This was a smart move by Cnn. Kiran is not only beautiful and wears super short skirts. But she is a great personality also. She will do much better than soledad

175. I loved the O'Briens. But what a nothing team they have now!!!!! How can anyone say "that woman" is beautiful. They will "flop" soon and I will be watching Fox when that happens.

Is it me, or does it seem like John Roberts and Kiran Chetry are at eachothers throats bickering...what about the comment he made about children spreading diseases on May 10th, and Kiran explaining that her baby was sick and John caught a cold. I could see her eyes rolling...could anyone else?

177. Good Luck to both Miles and Solidad. I hope they do well in their new adventures. I personally am very glad they are no longer the anchors. I did not care for, what I felt , was their egotistical styles. Soledad was difficult to watch on a daily basis but I stopped watching CNN when Bill Hemmer was asked to leave. He gave the program a needed gentle spirit. I felt that Soledad was extremely haughty and aggressive when interviewing people especially politicians who she did not agree with.

When Carol Costello moved from Atlanta to NYC she changed, and became cynical. ( We lived in NYC at the time and her transition was difficult to watch.) We switched to FOX, which is a bit goofy, but the most palatable of all the national "news/entertainment", programs on in the morning.

Good luck to CNN. We will tune in occasionally to see if the style meets our needs.

Well I was looking for the reason for their leaving and was disappointed that it wasn't added here, but my thoughts are that ratings were not going anyplace, as well as them not getting along, if you have ever watched in the beginning soledad couldn't keep her hands off anyone (always slapping someone) and in the end Miles and soledad hardly even looked at one another.

But to tell you the truth I am glad to see them gone, I didnt like them from the beginning, can you say boring?
