CNN To Miles, Soledad -- Bye Bye O'Briens

TMZ has confirmed through sources that Miles O'Brien and Soledad O'Brien have been officially booted as anchors of CNN's "American Morning."

John and KiranTheir replacements will be John Roberts and Kiran Chetry. CNN recently hired Chetry after she got the ax from FOX News Channel.

Sources say the move will be effective in two to three weeks. We're told both O'Briens will remain at CNN.

How ironic... American Morning has replaced Miles with John Roberts who is an older version of Bill Hemmer whom they had on AM originally.
Jon Klein should be "booted" for how he has messed things up on CNN!

52. Soledad O'brien has and always will be OVERRATED. I not sure what CNN saw in her when they hired her away from NBC. I think CNN thought they were getting a Katie Couric clone. Instead, they got a second rate journalist who could possibly anchor a early morning show in a 3rd rate TV market.

54. ...thank goodness. sooooo boring -- they may as well have been married. yawn. so white-bread there is really nothing to criticize (but nothing to like either). even Grace makes me laugh, though she is such a terrible "reporter" and such a caricature of who or "what" she and her producers think the public wants to see, it's the "grotesqueness" factor i tune in for now and then. with so many people clamouring to get on tv, there's no acceptable excuse for mediocricy...

and I guess I'll not watch CNN either. Absolutely refuse to watch anyone from the fair and balanced channel.MSNBC sounds better all the time!

59. are you guy's nuts?.....miles and soledad and the view are the only two shows we watch during the day....i guess it will only be the view from now on..we do not like fox people no matter where they go.....
