Griffin Welcomes Black Eyed Pea Pod

The latest member of the troubled O'Neal clan has made his debut ... on MySpace!
O'Neals
Ryan O'Neal's son Griffin, who earlier this year allegedly attacked Ryan with a fireplace poker, has posted a pic of his new baby boy on his MySpace page. While the baby's name is unknown, the newborn appears wrapped in blankets and is featured as Griffin's main pic, baby's black eye and band-aid added by TMZ for drama.

Griffin now has three children with three different women. He has a 17-year-old daughter, Dillan, and a young son, Renny.

Griffin and Ryan were involved in a violent altercation at Ryan's Malibu home in February, in which Griffin allegedly swung a fireplace poker at his father, which supposedly led to Ryan firing a shot "into the banister." Griffin's then pregnant girlfriend, JoAnne Berry, received a black eye in the scuffle and recently gave birth to the MySpace tot. So far, no charges have been filed in the case.

17. Taken from the story - "baby's black eye and band-aid added by TMZ for drama"

If people took the time to read you would know why the baby looks roughed up in the picture!!!!

YOU DIT WITS :

Why don't you try READING THE FULL story before taking time to post a response.

The last sentence below the photo CLEARLY STATES, "baby's black eye and band-aid added by TMZ for drama."

Pictures aren't always worth a thousand words -- taking time to read the article 1st could save you mounds of obvious, embarrasing IN-YOUR-FACE redundant questions.

But the sad part is that you had LOTS of company.

Remember LITERACY HELPS !!!

24. Yea..the O'Neal family is really really really(did I say REALLY?) dysfunctional and has been for decades now.

But somehow, finding some sort of demented source of humour in a modified picture of a newborn baby addubg a black eye and bandaids seems to stink of a dysfunctionality far beyond what these folks are going through!
C'mon TMZ...we love ya...but find a scruple somewhere in your reporting and draw a line at satirizing innocent infants. Its not the baby's fault his family is in the news, but with so many abused babies in the news, I found this to be really inappropriate as well as plain SAD.

26. Thank you "Literacy Helps". My blood pressure was going into orbit after the twelfth or thirteenth comment concerning how the baby was injured. Just incredible how lax and lazy the "reading" public is.

27. PLEASE READ:

AGAIN: I'm pretty sure that TMZ added that little detail later!!!!!!!

28. Adding a black eye to the picture of a newborn for "dramatic effect" is sick and twisted.

29. Ryan is a drunken irish boxing wanna be and apparently felt he needed to live the part in his life to prove something---he's beaten his wives and his children along the way. I blame that punk for the way his family has turned out. He thinks he's a tough guy, but he's a coward and a has been and he and the rest of the world knows it. His abuse towards his loved ones have now played out to the script he played while they were growing up and now.

30. #28...I agree.

#28...Where's the humor in a 'battered' baby? There's nothing funny about violence involving children, real or imagined.

TMZ...Leave the innocent alone!
