Lets Get This Party Started
Is Angelina Adopting Another Kid?

Angelina Adopts Pax: Launch galleryReports today are claiming that Angelina Jolie wants to adopt another girl from Africa for her burgeoning brood, right on the heels of her latest baby acquisition, Pax from Vietnam -- but TMZ has learned that it's definitely not true.

A source told a British tabloid that Angie wants to "balance" her family for the sake of her adopted daughter Zahara from Ethiopia. She's got two little Asian boys, the thinking goes, so she needs another African girl to keep Z company.

But TMZ spoke to Jolie's lawyer, Robert Offer, who told us that the rumor is definitely false. He says that he's been involved in all of Jolie's adoptions and that he hasn't spoken to her about adopting any children from Chad, or any other country for that matter.

91. Angelina and Brad need to adopt children from the US. Our babies here need a decent homes and parents to love them. Charity begins at home, so let's take care of our own first. I think it's wonderful they are opening their home and hearts to help children, but not from overseas...take care of ours first. Our children were born here and they deserve to be chosen first...not others.

92. Being very familiar with the International adoption process, I know that adopting families are put through the scrutiny of a homestudy and a variety of hurdles both on the US side as well as with the foreign country. These adoptions can take from 8-24 months.

To see someone, just because they have some sort of celebrity, just waltz in and pick a child, and seemingly just whisk them away without any period of transition for the child is selfish. These are not puppies in a litter, and money is just one aspect of the adoption process....all adoptive families have the money/adoption fee or they wouldn't be able to complete the process.

These children, particularly when they are toddlers have already grown accustomed to their culture and caregivers no matter what the circumstances...good or bad, that is what they know.

A stranger is a stranger.....IMHO, just plain selfish

93. if Jolie was a good stable influence, she should adopt, she has the money and we're all assuming love, but after seeing her interview on Leno she's not fit. her raising kids is destroying them with her bi-sexual lifestyle and being ok with drugs etc ... sorry not parenting material

94. JOJO...I think "YOU" are the disease..of the worst kind...get a life and buy yourself a dictionary so that you can spell correctly, or better yet use the spell check on your computer...I mean if you can actually accomplish that...and I totally agree with Julie...hats off to the whole family!!!

95. If Angelina Jolie and Pitt wants to adopt another child from Africa or any other part of the world they should do so. Its obvious that she loves children and she is able to provide for them.
I also want to express my opinion to the person that call himself Pro America, first of all its really rude of you to address oprah as you did. She is helping to build schools to educate the people that ordinarily wouldn't have the means or the funds to build one themselves. Oh yeah and before you start bashing people for helping others that aren't able to do it themselves you should seriously sit down and educate yourself about charity and the word LESS FORTUNATE mean. Oh yeah and learn how to spell, I don't understand how you live in the US and you don't know how to spell it. I guess the system failed you.

97. It takes more than money to be a good parent. Sure...she can afford to have a ton of kids, but is she meeting thier emotional needs too? I have no way of knowing, but money isn't everything. I feel badly for little Pax at the moment, although he will ultimately be fine.

At three years of age you have a sense of self, but that has all changed for him. He was taken away from what he knew (I believe for the better) without much thought to his emotional needs. Angelina should have learned his language before she took him, not after the fact. She should have spent a lot of time visiting him in his normal routine to help him become framiliar with her and his new siblings. Instead she yanked him up instantly and even changed his name! The poor kid has got to be frightened and lost. He will adjust, but I really feel she could have made the process less traumatic. It was selfish to change his name.

99. I have eight children and we get by on my husbaband's military pay which isn't much. She has the money and room to adopt as many as she wants, why is it anyone else's business anyway. Ya'll all need to get a life of your own and go play with your kids.

100. It's a great thing to turn a miserable life into a charmed life, no matter where the child is from...but I wonder about the millions of children here in our own country who are in dire straits, but we see on TV infomercials very infrequently, who are every bit as needy. I don't want to appear ungrateful to see a poor child (anywhere) helped, but the phrase "charity begins at home" just keeps cropping up in my mind. Poverty and "unadoptable" children abound here in these United States. With the resources these stars have, imagine the assistance that could be given special needs children that other 'regular' families who might wish to adopt a special needs child never will because they cannot afford it. Talk about money well spent. Why not give to charities in foreign countries or start funds for them so that you can help an entire village rather than handpicking one incredibly lucky child? Maybe I am wrong..if I am, forgive me but if I had that much money I would go the "oprah" route and spread the wealth. Just seems more fair.

101. If sanjaya is considered an American Idol, we are all in alot of trouble. hahaha. He is a fool.

102. praise? a movie star? isn't that reserved for the Supreme Being? We are getting to be a sad race. The concern for the children is great! Do you want another mommy dearest? I don't like Pitt, but at least he is there to love them, including Shiloh. Is something wrong with her? Why is Jolie embarrassed of her?

103. I think that if Angelina wants to adopt, then so be it. She has the money to provide their support and as long as she has the love to give them and the time to spend with them then I think she should adopt as many children as her heart desires. If I were financially able I would adopt a whole house full of children and give them a home and the love and support that every child needs and deserves.

104. Many of you are quick to chastise Angelina for adopting abroad when you know nothing of the level of poverty in those countries. You forget at least a person can collect welfare with lower incomes. You can acquire scholarships if you apply yourself and most importantly education from 1st thru 12 grade is free. If you live in Africa you must pay to learn, too many of us throw away what is a right here. Yes we have kids here too needing a home but as someone whose traveled and seen 1st hand the conditions abroad in 3rd world countries I understand why she has made the decision she did. I'm not sure if everyone remembers that she become aware of these conditions while on location abroad to film a movie. This is when she was awakened to the plight of so many children outside of Ameican. To see it on tv is one thing but to experience it in person leaves an indelible mark . Angelina has always been a free spirit, not lead by what is the norm necessarily she makes a path sometimes rather than follow the before her. She unlike so many of us can make a decision without the need for approval of others to legitimize her actions. I applaud her personally. Just as I applaud Oprah for giving girls in Africa a chance to acquire an education in a country where you must pay to get an education & the women are treated like something you stepped in on the bottom of your shoe. Women of america are so blessed............. why can't some others have a chance to excell in life

105. Just to answer whoever that named himself 'Pro America'.

Stop calling Oprah and Angelina Jolie names, those are the american celebrities doing a great job, I commend both of them for their good deeds. I have a recommendation for anybody criticizing Oprah or Angelina......take a vacation to Africa and see the definition of sufferring and poverty. I'm an african myself . Why do people criticize Oprah for helping the needy kids in Africa. U can never ever compare Africa to America...I've seen the best of both worlds, Americans have all the opportunities in the world, but the kids are so spoilt to an extend that they never use them. An african child would die to get any kind of education.

Now Angelina is trying to save all those kids that are living in poverty and all that selfish people can think of is that 'it's too much'. Well, Angie is taking kids away from poverty and making this a better world. Continue adopting sister....as long as U can provide the kids with all the love they need. U are a true celebrity.......Think about taking a vacation to africa before making offensive comments.

Good luck Oprah & Angie, U will forever be blessed.
