With the mindboggling success of "Ghost Rider," the enigma that is Nic Cage's resilient film career continues to roll on -- full weave ahead!

Sporting the latest in receding hairline chic, the Oscar-winner (really?) was snapped with script and Starbucks coffee in hand on the D.C. set of "National Treasure: Book of Secrets," the sequel to his 2004 Da Vinci Code-esque knockoff.

The former hunk is an inspiration to struggling actors everywhere, proving you don't need Brad Pitt's looks to open a movie.

31. I love Nick Cage and he is a great actor. I prefer Nick to pitt, cruise, clooney and all the rest of those hollywood pretty boys {they think}. In fact they need some new actors in hollywood instead the same old bunch. You go Nick, I love your movies.

38. Nick Cage good looking??????! Whenever I see him I think to myself: "How did he ever get so far in Hollywood???" Answer: He's the nephew of Frances Ford Coppola----------Gee. 42. I have enjoyed without exception every one of Mr. Cage's movies. I look forward to the next.
I echo the sentiment that the comments that are disparaging of him are undeserved. Let's face it we all get older and we all lose are looks, it truly is what is inside that counts.

43. Nicolas Cage is Hot!!!! He is also a great actor. I have loved every movie I have seen him in. Brad Pitt he is a dog. The last time he was cute was in Legends of the Fall. And that was a while ago. Nicolas Cage will always be a winner in my book.
