I try to see the overall picture and not get bogged down in the name calling. The bio-families must get HK$ out of the baby's and their lives. If it take a court document : so be be it. After that they need to get to the job of creating a world sans the toxic influences that have been surrounding them all for far too long. TALK about BAD KARMA !


I have always believed as time passes this insanity will subside and reality will again reign supreme. At a point in the future, there will be a quite hearing without all this SCREAMING FANFARE from HK$, (all the $$ will have been drained from the Smith estate) on the exhumation of the remains of the Smith family and they will be moved back to the states. Since neither of the deceased was a citizen of Nassau, nor was related to a citizen of the islands, this would be the right thing to do. HK$ needs to slink back into the muck from which he came. I am sure $tern'$ feels he deserves to have everything in the estate-not so, it belongs to the child. The family will in all likelihood have to sue him to regain the name and likeness copyrights of ANS.

The people and courts of the Islands have been used and abused by some that feel they were easy marks, I pray they don't hold it against all Americans. My fear is you might never rid your beautiful island of this plague from the main land.

This is going to be a long a twisted story that will be winding its way through the system for decades too come!

Good comments and great analysis.

Although Howard was reprimanded by the court for filing a
frivolous suit and fined $10,000 (who paid that?) he has now
filed a suit against John O'Quinn, and someone said against
Virgie Arthur, also. I don't know if the second case is true, but
I know he did file against O'Quinn in the Florida court. Why
Florida? I guess he has already seen how incompetent the judges
are there, and thinks he would have a good chance, hahahaha.

I hope John O'Quinn countersues and wins, or that the court
charges Howard again for a frivolous action. Larry should sue
because his baby was kept by fraud from him for seven months.
Virgie should sue for wrongful death of her daughter and her
grandson. Let the law suits fly! The Bahamas may have some
charges and court procedures going there, too!

The more Howard causes problems the worse it all gets for him.
And, he has caused enough problems and enough grief for others.
He should get a job.

1684. Most people know that the shoveling dirt on the grave is an idiotic
and utterly stupid remark considering that the people
involved at the funeral each participated in shoveling dirt on the grave.
Nobody who had any decency about them would have had that
filmed by Entertainment Tonight. That was not entertainment, but
for the money hungry, though, nothing is sacred. It was not
Anna's mother who sold the funeral. ET, who supports Howard because
there has been nothing he wouldn't sell them, deliberately made
Mrs. Arthur look bad because that is what Howard wanted. He set
up all the filming of Anna during the birth, after the birth, and was keeping
her drugged in the Clown video so he could also sell THAT. There is
a lot more, too.

ET created a false picture of Anna's mother about the dirt on the grave,
and they are much to be condemned for doing that. Everybody involved
in evil will eventually reap what they sow, because people get what they
really deserve not what they WANT, and ill gotten gains will bring
nothing good.

1685. Mrs. Arthur was a wonderful mother to Anna and was a wonderful
grandmother to Daniel, whom she raised for seven years. TOO
BAD Anna didn't leave him with her mother, because now he would
be ALIVE instead of DEAD, and if Anna had listened to her mother
when she told her on national TV that she loved Anna, always had,
that Daniel was gone, and if Anna wasn't careful of who was around
her she would be GONE, too, and instead of listening to her mother
Anna listened to people trying to make her believe that her mother
said that she, Anna, killed Daniel. Nothing could be farther from the
truth. There should be a special place in hell for those people.
So now Anna and Daniel are both dead.

Too bad they weren't with Virgie Arthur, where they would both be alive,
healthy and happy. But, Anna was blocked from her friends, her
family and her son, except when he came to see his baby sister.
And died.

Anna and her mother got along well and they loved each other.
The only problem they ever had was that Anna's mother did not
approve of drugs. Good for her. She did all she could to help Anna.

All baby Danielynn has left of her mother and brother is her
grandmother, who will love her dearly and who will be a wonderful
part of her life. Larry Birkhead will be a great father, and he and
Mrs. Arthur will see to it that the baby has a happy and safe life,
and that is what we all want for the baby. She is all that is left.

I appreciate your thoughtful comments.

I recently watched the *shoveling*of*the*dirt* portion of the $3,000,000.00 HK$--ET "movie".

As a mother and a grandmother, I was right there with Virgie in spirit. I understood how she felt and I understood her actions.

There was very little soil left for her in the disgusting cemetery-maintenance trailer. She scraped the trailer with the huge flat-edged shovel, and then something shocking happened… Virgie, had she been physically healthier may have succeeded in burying her loved ones all by herself. She had felt so powerless and frustrated regarding the lives AND the "remains" of her loved ones, that she seemed to be claiming their lives right there ...graveside.

I saw a woman that was making a statement from deep within her heart …that Vickie Lynn and Danny were HER babies. She had more right to be there than ANYONE else. This was the very end of their presence on earth. She was saying good-bye to her baby girl and her grandson. If love is the connection to our loved ones that have passed, then Vickie Lynn and Danny’s Spirits were with her as she was saying “Rest in Peace my Angels“.

(I believe that HK$ had Anna Nicole’s casket put on top of Daniel‘s casket)

Do you ever wonder why, when a woman is raped, she is further victimized by society and the courts?

“What kind of skirt were you wearing?” “How short was it?”

Somehow society will find a way to BLAME victims of violent crime …victims “get what they deserve”. There will be very little sympathy coming their way.

Virgie, Anna and Daniel are all VICTIMS. Virgie is being attacked. Daniel isn’t going to get the justice that he and his family deserve. He was “just another child of a celebrity that OD‘d accidentally or on purpose.” Anna Nicole is absolutely de-humanized.

There's NO reason for Virgie to be attacked. It's a symptom of a psychologically unbalanced society.

Virgie Arthur wants custody of Danielynn in the event of Larry Birkhead's death, and her demands are delaying Birkhead from gaining custody of his daughter.

According to the NY Daily News, Birkhead is rejecting Arthur's request, claiming that it is an unusual stance for a grandmother to take. Birkhead and Arthur have until next Friday to hammer out an agreement that works for both of them.

What you say is very true. I would go further and say that the
civilized period of time when justice was prevalent has ended
in many countries. We have seen the Florida judicial system,
law enforcement, and investigation, on national television. What
a joke! It was disgraceful and a total embarrassment. I guess there
were international peals of laughter. Will the Bahamas stand up and
deal with crime? I am putting my faith and hope in the Bahamian
justice system, and it is up to them now.

You are certainly right about the disregard for women and their
right for justice, too. I agree with all you said. In the matter of the
death of Anna and of her son, Daniel, there seems to be little outrage,
and the general consensus seems to be what you said, "Oh, well."
Entertainment Tonight got away with trashing Mrs. Arthur, a grieving
mother and grieving grandmother. They deliberately contrived to make
it appear she did something wrong at the grave site. She didn't.
I will always have utter contempt for ET for all they have done. Other untrue remarks made by one of Stern's lawyers slipped by on Court TV that were slander. Mrs. Arthur has some really good attorneys, and perhaps they will deal with some of this slander toward Virge Arthur, who was an honored 28 year law enforcement officer, and whose son is with the FBI.

Investigation and dedication appear to be sadly lacking. How shocking
that is to those of us who believe right should win and justice should be
served. Victims of murder and of crime are on hard times, but the
perpetrators are protected. Go figure.

1690. The reason there is a problem has nothing to do with Mrs. Arthur or with Larry, both of whom are good people with loving families who want to make baby Danielynn happy and to protect her.

Because Howard Stern has threatened Anna's mother, and refused to let her spend time with her own grandchild, who is not his child, she has to be assured that this inappropriate behavior will not continue. A decent human being would not be afraid to do something in the way of an agreement, after all she has been through in the deaths of her daughter and grandchild, to
assure her that she will have a part in this child's life as her grandmother.The father is the father, the grandmother is the grandmother, and Stern is the person who has kept the child from both of them for seven months. Larry should have the confidence and the good character to sign a document which will assure Mrs. Arthur that she will be able to see her grandchild and spend time with her. To do otherwise is mean spirited, selfish and small minded.

It is a mystery to me as to why Howard Stern and his family are still in a
home where they are not wanted, and where he has been served evictions for months to leave. I have never heard of anyone doing such a thing. It seems to me that pride and decency would keep someone from being a squatter in someone else's house. Also, it seems outrageous for Stern
to be judging how Larry takes care of his daughter and for him to continue to behave as though he is the enforcer of all things to do with Larry's baby,
and Mrs. Arthur's granddaughter. If anything he has ruined the first seven
months of that baby's life, she is deprived of her mother and her brother, and she has been with a nanny instead of with her father with also seeing her grandmother.

Something is wrong with this picture. It seems insane.

I just saw a picture of Larry and the beautiful little baby, a picture he
appears to have sold to a London magazine. Larry and the baby apparently
lying side by side with him smiling, and she looks bewildered, but precious.

How do you feel about this? Maybe I am wrong, but I was absolutely
I felt this was a pandering of this baby. I guess he and
Howard are in cahoots now on selling pictures and footage of the baby, since ET had new pictures of the baby, too. I hate to believe that this might
be just the beginning of Larry posing with this precious baby for money
and selling her pictures. Does everybody think this is o.k.?.
Remember Larry's statement, "My daughter is not for sale"? Well,
ET has recent pictures, the pictures are out in London, and why do I
get the feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg. Anna was so used. Now is her daughter going to be used? Am I wrong to feel so upset
about this?

This baby will have a baby-sitter, no mother, a father who travels
doing photography, who is already selling her pictures, I am getting very depressed by that overall picture. Certainly it is better than her being with Howard Stern, but it this going to be much better from all
appearances? . But this baby deserves a lot better than being sold for pictures, and she deserves a loving home with people who would love and
protect her.. Can we say exploitation of an infant?

1694. I watched the Nanny's talking about what was going on. I definitely
believe what they said, and I had forgotten about Anna lying on the
bottom of the pool, and instead of jumping in to save her Howard
called Moe to come get her out. I wondered how long he waited,
and although Moe did resusitate her, it could have gone otherwise.

Most people know that the meds were in the refrigerator and not
just a set up as Howard claimed. The Nanny's testify to the fact
they were always there and that Howard gave Anna the drugs.
No surprise there. Howard must have really had contempt for
and hated Anna to keep her on all the drugs and to ridicule her and
to know she would eventually die. I think the clown video and his
mockery of her then is the way he always was, and probably worse
when it was not being videoed.

The baby was always at risk, I have no doubt that she was sedated
so she would be no trouble, and with Anna so drugged she probably
didn't know what was going on. Imagine the nanny's hearing the baby's
little stomach growling from lack of feeding because she was sedated
and not waking up to eat her food, if she was fed. It was said that
she was very underweight for a while.

I am so outraged when I read all that happened, hearing what the
nannie's witnessed and their repeating what Anna said, which makes
it obvious what happened to Daniel. The drug doctor might have
disliked and had contempt for Anna, and certainly she helped obtain
all the drugs.

In essence, it seems as though Anna was a prisoner in the home,
was kept drugged, the baby was at risk, and nobody was allowed to
be with or to contact Anna. That would have possibly gotten her
to safety, and that was not going to happen. No wonder that Daniel
was so worried about his mother that he saw a PI. Since he couldn't
even talk to his mother, since if he called her the phone was hung up,
he had no way of knowing her condition.

The Nannie's have no reason to lie, and I totally believe they were
telling the truth. They could not have made up what they said easily
and without trying to think of something to say. Also, the interviewers
said that Howard had been trying to find out where the Nannies live,
and they warned Howard that he had better not cause harm to the
nannies.

Anna, who was once successful as a model, and who was happy,
became listless, excessively drugged, incoherant and isolated. It
is terrible to think about what Anna suffered toward the end of her life,
and about what happened to Daniel, such a sweet person.

Is this all the methodical work of a cold blooded monster? The
nannies' comments seem to point in that direction.

1695. Joy,

That doesn't make any sense. It is easy for you to say what
you would do when you aren't even faced with the situation
and loss of your daughter's and your grandson's sudden and
mysterious deaths. I hope you never have to face that experience
in losing your daughter and grandchild to a horrible death, and to
then remember your cold and callous comments about someone
else in that instance.

There is NO WAY anybody can blame these deaths on
Mrs. Arthur, Anna's mother, but certain individuals sure like to
bash and criticize her to divert attention from the person who
REALLY caused all these problems, the person who blocked
all people who could help Anna, including her mother.

You don't really believe it is Mrs. Arthur's fault that all this happened,
because that would be utterly stupid and without any basis, and
isn't what we are really looking at here the untimely and totally
unnecessary deaths of two helpless people? The lethal drugs
involved and who was buying and administering them? It amazes
me that anybody could spend time criticizing a parent instead of
really having any compassion nor concern for the fact that a young
boy is DEAD, heinously, and so his mother.

Too many people love to blame parents for everything these days,
and instead of taking the responsibility for their own actions they
are always bashing parents. It is ridiculous.

Howard's parents were supporting HIM, and Anna was supporting him.
Anna made some really bad decisions, and the worst of all of them
was moving to the Bahamas with Howard Stern, which isolated her
from her friends and family. This ultimately led to her son's death,
and to her death.

For you to blame Mrs. Arthur for what happened is absurd, and you
should be blaming the person who is actually responsible. There are
priorities here, and if we wanted to get on the immature trip of
blaming parents for any of this we would also have to look at
Howard's parents who obviously financially supported their grown son
and did nothing about his having many prescriptions for drugs in his
name.
