Howard K. to Hire Pit Bull Lawyer to Nail Naysayers

Lin Wood and Howard K. SternTMZ has learned Howard K. Stern has had telephone conferences with Lin Wood -- the lawyer who represented Patsy and John Ramsey -- and will hire him to sue members of the media who have accused Stern of committing homicide and other offenses.

We're told a retainer agreement has not yet been signed, but Stern and Wood have agreed in principle that the uber-aggressive lawyer would file various lawsuits against certain members of the media.

TMZ contacted Ron Rale, Anna Nicole's lawyer, a named executor in her will and Stern's friend, who said, "I will confirm that retention of Lin Wood is an imminent possibility." Rale added, "Certain members of the media might want to think about mitigating damages."

In the Ramsey case, Wood filed numerous defamation claims against media outlets, including Time, Court TV, FOX News and others, for pointing a guilty finger at his clients.

42. Go gettem' Howard! It is about time that you made people accountable for their sensationalism and crap they say and print daily about you. It is nice to see that you allowed some time to pass before you took on this endeavor. Anna would want you to defend yourself against the media whores who perpetuate the myth around who you are. Long-term Anna fans have your back and could see from day one that you worshipped Anna, possibly to a fault. Enough to work only for her and be her gopher on a daily basis and" if that be a shame" so be it. I, along with real fans of Anna urge you to kick some "Geraldo, Inside Edition, O Reilly, Van Sustern" (and the list goes on)...butt!!!!

This guy sure acts guilty for someone who is so desperate to aim the responsibility in another direction. I think as little of his lawyers as I do him... they'll go to any length to gain notoriety AND money! Don't EVEN get me started on Debra Opri... I hope the Bahamian govt does something very soon to give Dannielyn a decent chance in this life and that she remains safe til she can be with her rightful family!!!
