Howard K. to Hire Pit Bull Lawyer to Nail Naysayers

Lin Wood and Howard K. SternTMZ has learned Howard K. Stern has had telephone conferences with Lin Wood -- the lawyer who represented Patsy and John Ramsey -- and will hire him to sue members of the media who have accused Stern of committing homicide and other offenses.

We're told a retainer agreement has not yet been signed, but Stern and Wood have agreed in principle that the uber-aggressive lawyer would file various lawsuits against certain members of the media.

TMZ contacted Ron Rale, Anna Nicole's lawyer, a named executor in her will and Stern's friend, who said, "I will confirm that retention of Lin Wood is an imminent possibility." Rale added, "Certain members of the media might want to think about mitigating damages."

In the Ramsey case, Wood filed numerous defamation claims against media outlets, including Time, Court TV, FOX News and others, for pointing a guilty finger at his clients.

49. This scumbag never fails to see an opportunity to profit from Anna Nicole Smith's death.

It's clearly money motivated because the public has already formed their opinion that Howard Stern is an evil slimeball and suing the media isn't going to change that.

I hope he enjoys his millions when he's hounded by the public for the rest of his life.

56. WE LIVE IN AMERICA !! Were the constitution protects us !! I feel as long as you have paper to back your words, and start with saying "this is what I believe" he should just shrug off what others may feel... I myself think he is guilty as hell, and is at the point were guilt, shame and everything else is just eating him up inside. But hey, that is what I FEEL, and I have the right to say that !!! My brothers have not went to Iraq to fight for me to keep my mouth shut, they fight for our freedom, "Freedom of Speech" !!!!!

58. O'Quinn, Virgie Arthur's attorney, is going to be top of the list. He flat out said HKS murdered both Daniel and Anna on TV - he is a murderer. You can't get much clearer than that. Mr. Stern is innocent of any crime. If there comes a time when they can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that there was foul play in either deaths and it points to Mr. Stern, he would then be brought up on charges and brought to trial. I personally do not believe he did anything to cause the deaths of either person. Only time will tell.
