If Sanjaya Wins Idol...

16. It's obvious that American Idol has lost its creditbility in being a serious competition between highly talented singers. Keep in mind, the demise of the show was caused by the public and the likes of Howard Stern (not the Anna Nicloe Smith guy!) who decided they were bored and needed a 'project', without thinking about the consequences, especially to the young boy who clearly has no talent. It is a cruel joke which has destroyed the opportunity for deservingly talented young people, to compete and be recognized. It is tantamount to voting for a homely girl as Homecoming Queen - hurtful and hateful, or, giving the valedictory award to an academically handicapped student. All designed to make a laughing stock of the victim.

Shame on you all for getting your kicks at the expense of the weak.

Because, if or when he wins, he will not be offered any serious recording contracts, only those similar to the likes of William Hung, who has earned his money from those of you who have so much disposable income, you were willing to waste it on a joke, someone to laugh at.

Shame on you all for participating!

20. Please please please dont EVEN speak of him winning. There is soo much actual TALENT on the show; Melinda, Jordan, KiKi,!! These girls are people that we will see and hear of in the future and deserve to be in this SINGING contest. I feel sorry for Sanjaya. He thinks that people really want him here; and it is a joke. If he wins; i will NEVER EVER watch idol again.
