46. i think that it is a shame that there are people, like howard stern that are telling people to vote for sanjaya as a joke when there is some real talent on that stage that has been voted off. my friends and i have been watching this when it fist started. if by some chance sanjaya wins, we will not let our children watch or will we. it just is a shame that a fun show for the whole family has to end up this way. shame on howard stern!!!!!

47. Why is it that the public is letting AI get away with keeping Sanjaya. He sucks and everyone knows it. Each week good singers are getting kicked off because of this SN.

THE PUBLIC NEEDS TO BOYCOTT WATCHING AI AND SEE HOW FAST THEY WILL CHANGE THEIR RULES WHEN IT HURTS THEM IN THE POCKETBOOK. WISE UP AMERICA.

50. I Think that EVERYONE that is voting for Sanjaya is stupid, and are messing up the ones that really can sing. Lets get this fool voted off. Just think, if he does win, do we really want to spend the next year hearing his voice on the radio, or see him on TV for winning???? DO YOU?? just think of that......I understand that the guy has a nice smile, and all the young girls are falling for him.....but HE CAN'T SING!!!!! and I too will never watch the show again if he does win, although if he does win, I dout there will EVER be another American Idol. I think the judges should be able to over rule the votes. However....one more point....IF and only IF Randy, Paula and Simon would never have allowed Sanjaya to make it to Hollywood, well we would not be having this conversation, however it would be about someone else...That is all

52. I agree 100% with all the negative statements being said about Sanjya. He should have been voted off weeks ago, but I disagree with #54 and her comments about Haley still hanging on. She may not have the powerful voice of Melinda, Jordin or Lakisha, but none the less she still sings lovely and has the best stage presence of all the remaining contestants. It's a shame Simon won't give her any credit except for her looks. What a sexist pig!

53. Unbelieveable!!!! I seriously thought he was a gonner tonight. They let a better singer go this evening...I think...If it comes down to good old Sanjayaya and Melinda....."And the winner is...Sanjayaya"...Holy Toledo!!!! There is something to that saying "strength in numbers"...and I think these numbers will hurt American Idol.

If Sanjaya wins - it goes to show you that more people are treating this show as a joke and the rest of us who have enjoyed the show and voting for our favorites for the last 6 yrs are just wasting our time. American Idol should chage their voting process - like Dancing with the Stars - the Public gets 50% and the judges get the other 50% then maybe stupidity will not prevail and the good talented people would still be on the show.

56. I can't believe Sanjaya stayed yet another week and Gina got voted off. She is not my very favorite but she at least has talent and did a great job... You folks keeping him in is making a mockery of the show and if he wins I will not watch it next year if it returns.

57. This whole Sanjaya thing is ridiculous. As much as I love American Idol, I will not watch it again if he wins, and that is the truth. The only reason he is still there...is a swarm of teen girls just hitting redial over and over until the time is up to vote. And don't exclude his family doing the same thing. Please!!! Enough is enough, he should have been gone long ago!!!!!

59. The rumor is that past Idol competitors given the axe pre-Hollywood and past contestants who were spanked by Simon are ALSO voting for Sanjaya....kind of their way of getting back at SImon. I wouldn't be surprised. He has a way of making lots of enemies on there.
