36. Actually, "Brokeback Mountain" is not "a gay cowboy movie". It's a movie about two young, dirt-poor male sheepherders, who fell in love; and the tragedies that ensued because of their love.

It was a very dangerous time and place to practice homosexuality! They knew it, but their love was too strong to deny it!

Gay was not in their vocabulary. This was in the early sixties in mountainous territory! These people were not sophisticated. They were country!

I recently saw "Zodiac". The movie was very satisfying! Afterwards, I overheard two young males talking about it. They agreed it was a bit long, but they enjoyed it. For myself, the actors were extraordinary! Jake didn't have the showy role; but he nailed his part!
