Jessica Simpson and That Guy She's Dating

61. I'm not a big Jess/John fan but I am a huge Nick fan. My husband and I are in our mid 30's and we were lucky enough to attend one of Nick's concerts. We are huge music lovers and have been to everyone's concert that you can imagine even John Mayers. Nick was definately our favorite. His voice was amazing and he really connects with the audience. The venue was sold out and the girls/women were on their feet screaming and crying the whole time. I've never seen anything like it. My husband wasn't sure about a Nick concert but after he went he was amazed and now loves Nick also. He bought his cd first thing. I got to do the meet and greet. Nick was the nicest guy ever and he signed my ticket stub, tee shirt, and picture. I also met the band and they said Nick was awesome and they loved him. That was one of the best nights of my life. I love you Nick. You Rock. As soon as you go on tour again I will be first in line.

Hey #64, The CONCERT I WENT TO WERE NOT UNDER 18. THEY WERE MOSTLY 20'S AND 30'S. The concert was amazing and for your information Joe promised Nick that he would promote both his and Jessica's albums if he did newlyweds. But I don't know why I am responding to you because you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. You sound as ditzy as Jessica . Everyone else that I talked to that attended Nick's concerts loved it so I don't know what is wrong with you. Plus you are the minority so it doesn't matter anyway.

63. Yeah, I went to Nick's concerts also, 5 to be exact and I'm going again in July. 65 is right, the concerts I went to had a lot of 20 and 30 year olds plus a lot of guys. It was no way a high school show although there were some teenagers there of course. He is a great live performer. His concerts were so successful they added quite a few more citys at the end of the tour. I loved his cd and can't wait for the next one. I think Nick is very talented. I would rather look and listen to him way more than John Mayer. I don't think Nick cheated at all and anyone who does is just trying to justify Jessica's actions as to why she would leave a great guy like Nick. And to whoever said Vanessa has a pug face. I think she is beautiful and even a real pug would be better than Jessica.

65. Yuck, I can't get excited about this couple...and seriously, when I see pictures of them I just think of Jessica on the cover of US Weekly with the word DUMPED stamped across the page. How quickly her little teenybopper fanbase forgets with their "Oh their so cute" spiel. She must have low self esteem if she's willing to hook back up with Mayer after that humiliation. The truth of the matter is: Jessica Simpson is a has been who NEVER was. Her claim to fame...a reality show which only worked because of the dynamic with Nick. No Nick, no show, no endorsements and endorsements...tacky ones at that are what created her so called wealth...not album sales or successful movies. She would still be playing 4-H fairs had he not let her open for 98 Degrees and her career only took off after they married. She and her daddy exploited that hell out of that marriage and her career tanked when it ended.

Nick is better off...much better off. He has fans that care and want him to succeed. Vanessa is a beautiful woman who seems to have supported him through thick and thin. She's not out there expoiting their relationship by calling in the tabloid press in order to get the money shots for People mag.

67. I don't think Nick or Jessica were saints. Nobody knows what really went on. They both probally cheated. I think they were two people madly in love that got caught up in fame and let their marriage fall apart.

73. What career does Vanessa have? Now that she's dating Nick she's starting to get "real " jobs. All she does is work for MTV for peanuts and once a week do a 2 minutue skit on ET. Nobody really knew or cared about her before Nick. She's just a B-list celebrity using Nick to get ahead.

Everyone insitsting Nick is so perfect needs to get a life. DO you know him? Of course, Nick claimed he was perfect and it was all Jessica. She had more class than to talk about it all the time. If she did talk we would all know Nick was not too perfect, either. He cried to the papers he loved her as he was with a different woman every week! It takes two and they both are to blame.

74. I think its really funny how Jessica is traveling all over the place with John Mayer's ugly self and she makes it seem like she got all this time on her hands. But when her and Nick was married, Joe Simpson made sure Jessica had to work on their one year (marriage) anniversary! Now that he has torn them apart, he makes sure Jessica has all this time for John Mayer. This really shows that Joe Simpson had a lot to do with the divorce of Nick & Jessica.

I hope Jessica and John don't last! Because she broke Nick's heart just because he didn't go on the trip to Africa! Come on now?! Who really believes that BS. Then she had the nerves to say in her interview with Elle Magazine, that she felt freedom when she moved out of her home with Nick! I can't stand Jessica Simpson anymore. I used to like John Mayer, but now he's just turned into all the other hollywood hungry for spot light ass holes.

75. #64 According to Hollywood standards Jessica's albums and movies have been flops and Nick's latest album out sold Jessica's. Nick's latest album was a success according to Hollywood standards. There have been reports that Jessica cheated on Nick while married, but no reports about Nick cheating on Jessica. Jessica would not be able to sell out Madison Square Garden either. The only people that like Jessica are people that are into superficial people. She is no role model because her main focus is being self absorbed, spending money, being a slob, paying other people to do everything for her, and being proud that she is a ditz. Only 1% of the American population can afford the clothes she buys. And the red dress she is wearing is something my grandma wears in the summer time while watering her grass in Arizona. She would probably use the little pocket on the red dress to hold her tissue. Just because it is an expensive designer dress, does not make it a flattering dress to wear. Just because Vanessa is not European of American decent, does not make her ghetto. She has beautiful brown skin. Jessica tries to have beautiful brown skin like Vanessa's, but she looks orange instead. hee! hee! The bottom line is Jessica's claim to fame was that she was a cute blonde ditz on a reality TV show. She will eventually fade away, and a new younger cute blonde ditz will come along to replace her. After all Jessica is moving towards her 30's and being a ditz is not amusing when one is in their 30's, it’s pathetic. Jessica divorced Nick because she thought she could do better and she did not want to share her movie money with Nick. Jessica claims that she divorced Nick because he did not want to go to Africa with her. What a lame excuse. I’m sure Nick did not want to deal with the entire Simpson clan all the way to Africa. Nick deserves a medal for having to deal with the Simpson clan.
