51. Simon said that Seattle's audition was the worst ever and I think his statement has come back to haunt him with SANJAYAa! On the other hand, Jordin Sparks and Blake are much better respresentation for Seattle. Either way, if somebody from the Seattle audition wins - Simon could be eating CROW!

56. Sanje has very big range in vocals and he timing is right on the mark,Rubin only has 1 range and that is flat note Sanje will will this contest very easy.

57. Whomever thinks that Sanjaya is a good singer should be kicked in their ass. Ya he had a great audition but he hasnt been that way since. Therefore he should have been kicked off the show long ago. I agree with Simon, he is in his own universe. Maybe he should invite all the other no talents of the show to join him.

58. Through all the negative media, hateful remarks, this young man
can take it, even with a smile. He is appealing to tweens and the older generation. He has
a sweet innocence, and he truly loves to entertain. Sanjaya can sing, we all heard it in his
audition. I am beginning to wonder if AI is holding him back from really being on top of his
game every week, this smear campaign is there doing, I blame them.
Through all of the mud that is being dumped on Sanjaya he needs to be and remain true to himself. Sanjaya will rise above all of this and will pleasantly surprise all of us.

59. Sanjaya is a no talent singer...he is not in the same class as Melinda. Melinda should be the hands down winner if they are judging this on pure vocal atlent and stage presentation...If they think this is a talent contest then they should let others who do other things besides sing enter and be in the top 24 .Sanjaya has appeal to the unkonwn adn this will wear off. Why oh why would they give him a record deal at the end?????? Lets remember they are doing this to make themselv es money in the end..He will fizzle out after two weeks if he wins. If he wins I will never watch this program again. I was a manager and producer for many years on a local level and I know talent.

60. The "Sanjaya" problem can be resolved rather easily by Idol itself. All they have to do is follow the common sense lead of other call-in reality shows (eg., "Dances With Stars" and "America's Got Talent")
and limit the number of votes that any one phone number can make. In the case of "Dances", each voter is limited to the total number of contestants (i.e., if there are 8 contestants left, a voter would be limited to only 8 votes per telephone number; if they want ot divide those votes up or give them to one contestant, they are free to do so). That simple solution would thwart the assholes out there who are voting hundreds of times for one bad performer (Sanjaya!), and it would restore integrity to a show that many of us are losing patience with because of this latest fiasco. Why does Idol NOT do thi?...because, they are making
too much money/kickback from Cingular Wireless who is making a mint out of the 30+ million "votes" that are recorded each week (to say nothing about the text messaging). Real fans of the show would rather see 20 million legitimate votes rather than 35 million votes where half of them are tainted. Come on Idol,
stop being greedy and correct this problem before it ruins the show for good!! (They should have learned from previous seasons when the likes of non-singing John Stevens and that "Chicken Little" dufus who stayed longer than they should have because of the disruptive voting and that nuisance "votefortheworst" website!!!!
